Howell Tree and Landscaping Service

We had them come to remove bamboo. They got down to the bottom and found it had grown a huge area almost like a giant tree trunk. This cost $500. They said they would come back and take it out for an additional $500. When they came back they didn't take it completely out. Rather, they took it down to the dirt which was 3 feet up from the ground and put stump rot stuff on it. So the work cost $1,000 but I still have the stump. It is getting smaller but i don't know if it will be gone. I believe, since they did not dig out the stump part, then the work was only worth $600.

Work ended up very good. Took way longer than originally thought, very late start times and very late working hours til 8 or 9 o'clock at night. Not much communicating, showed up with no warning, worked without communicating for how long , etc. very nice and personable and friendly. If you don't care about timing and communicating, I would recommend them.

Did a great job and hauled all the trimmings. Would hire again.

Justin worked with us to get the work done based on our timeline. He was thorough and meticulous with trimming the branches and limbs hanging over our pool screen area.

Small team efficient in complex climbs and precise, clean cuts - waste removal not included in price. Loose contract by verbal agreement and txt correspondence which made me a little wary but team was good about communicating ‘contract’ points and daily status. Team was cordial with neighbors and more than willing to pick up small notes. I’d definitely hire them again as needed.

The contractor gave me a price of $150 but only charged $125 which very fair. However, they did not clean up after doing the work. They left branches and twigs which needs cleaning up before the lawn can be mowed. I have not been able to get ahold of them to tell them about the clean up needed because there message says they are not taking any more calls. Because I feel the job is not complete and can't even ask if they are coming back, I would not recommend them to anyone.

Things started out great. There was a lot of communication and I should've realized then that he was desperate for work but I gave him a chance anyways, then the project started. Justin Howell barely came to the work site to watch over his men. They completely ruined my grass while trying to install a fence. I received a ton of nasty / nonprofessional text messages because I refused to give him final payment after such a bad job. My fence has huge gaps where my dogs could easily crawl under. Honestly the worst company I've ever dealt with. If you have any questions about him and his company, I have screen shots and pics of the work he did.

Showed up on time, did shrub job quickly, said he would be back to finish rest of lawn work (trim palm trees, give quote on cutting down trees in rear) but never came back and never called. Very disappointed ?

He started a job without actually getting hired because he wanted money. This was on my neighbor's place. I had told him I'd pay half the job. So he cut the tree down. Then on my place I asked him to do more work. I gave him money but left before he finished the job. He walked off without finishing. The neighbor's tree he never came back and hauled away. It's still lying on the ground.
