Top Rail Fence St Paul

Highly recommend Top Rail Fence. Installers were very professional and did a great job. They even came back out the next day to make sure we were happy with the job.

To be fair - I can’t comment on their work, only my initial experience. This appears to be a franchise model with a call center. The individual I spoke to claimed to be in St Paul, but clearly didn’t know the area. We had a hard time communicating about the basics of my location. Once we got to the project, I was told Top Rail was not able to provide an estimate as my repair didn’t meet the 40’ minimum for a discussion about an estimate. No other questions were asked about the nature of the work being done. Disappointing as I wasn’t given an opportunity to talk to anyone local about the actual work I’m hoping to have done and was very one dimensional in only asking about the length of my existing fence. Update from 10/25: Joel followed up with me following my initial review and experience. He was very professional, and scheduled an estimate right away. While I didn't choose to go with Top Rail primarily due to the nature of my project, they went out of their way to make sure I received an excellent experience...including the on-site estimator, Howard.

Howard with Top Rail is knowledgeable and made a great recommendation on the style for our fence. He's quick and responsive. We don't see that with all other companies

I will not hire them. They marked the fence line and changed without informing me. Take complete printed copy of the fence line before you sign any contract with them

The people were nice. The fence is sturdy. It was built upside down and inside out-- they put the attractive face side toward the garage and the rough backside where is is visible. Go figure. They put the top rail rough side up. If you work with them, make sure you discuss this! They got the job done, sooner than expected. I think the price is kind of high for a pine board fence.

From start to finish, the experience was exceptional!!!! I will recommend Top Rail to everyone looking for a fencing company!! Charles was awesome & amazing!!!! He checked in with me on a regular basis to let me know how things were progressing to start the job, while the job was being done & even followed up after the job was completed!!!! Superior company to work with!!! My fence is gorgeous!!!! Thank you, Top Rail!!!!

We are very pleased with the results of the new fence! It adds so much to the look of our backyard. Brandon did an excellent job (some of the old posts were a bear to remove!) And Charles connected with us many times to check the progress of the project to ensure it was going well. Both are very personable and were a pleasure to work with. Will definitely contact them again if we have another project.
