Steve and his company are total scam artists. Do not work with this company. We signed a contract, paid on the due dates. He started all the work but once he got the 3rd payment, he bailed. He stopped answering our calls and texts. He ghosted and took our money with him. Additionally, since he did not complete the patio work he started, a leak began in our home which led to further damage. We had to hire another company to finish the job and have essentially double-paid. We are taking legal action and have reported him to the government. Avoid this company and don't get scammed like we did.

In November 2017, my elderly father (a disabled Veteran) and mother, entered into a contract with Steven Bisordi (Hudson Valley Land Management Corp) to upgrade their septic system in Somers, NY at a cost of $28,500. The initial work was completed in the Fall of 2017 with the balance of work to be completed in the Spring of 2018. Top soil was to be applied, dressed/seeded, and low spots filled in. Rocks and boulders which were strewn all over the lawn were to be removed. A backhoe dug the quarter of an acre area up and left behind an unsightly mess covered with bank run. Steven signed the contract and reassured my parents he would return in Spring. At the end of March, Steven was contacted and it was the start of a spiraling, endless series of phone calls, numerous excuses, messages, and no show dates. He fabricated lies and they were systematic, "the grass seed will freeze, it is too rainy, it is too muddy, my trailer with equipment broke down, another arriving tomorrow, I'm sorry, how about next week, I will call back in fifteen minutes (I give you my word), I will be there tomorrow, my mother must have called wrong person, I contacted another family member". You get the idea. My handicapped father was feeling taken advantage of. He called Steven, who promised him a date and then hung the phone up on him. The man has no scruples and is a pathological liar. These events have triggered undue stress on my elderly parents and our family. We have spent numerous hours trying to resolve the problem. All we wanted was the work done as we agreed. Steven Bisordi seems to enjoy being deceitful (as if it was a game), is not a man of his word and cannot be TRUSTED. Use extreme caution if you are considering hiring Steven Bisordi. In hindsight, I can tell you I would never have used, nor would I EVER recommend this contractor.

We discovered our basement floor flooded with about 2 inches of water the day after Thanksgiving. I went to the HomeAdvisor website and booked an appointment with the first company that answered the phone. Steve of Hudson Vally Land Management Corp answered the phone and by the end of the week our water main was fixed. The crew that worked on our property were prompt and professional. Steve and his crew care about the work and the people they work with. You can't go wrong.

Steve was hired to do my exterior stairs along with new wrought iron railings. His masons did beautiful work but I was abandoned and left to get my own welding contractor to complete the contracted project. A man's word should be his bond. Hudson Valley failed to deliver. Project took forever to complete. I would not use again.

Work is almost done. It looks great so far A year and a half has passed. The stone facing on the steps is falling apart. The concrete facing at the end of the walk way is falling off. Called company left messages. after threating to write a bad review, Steven B. called me. Said to send him pictures (I did) and that he would stop by on 2/6/2018 to look at the problem. We waited all day, he never showed up. Call his cell several times, always busy. Left message at his office. We have not been contacted. This company does not stand behind their work. I have to get another company to repair/replace what the did. I hopping nothing else falls apart.

First of all, the owner is always available to take your call or trouble shoot any problem - and if you've ever had any work done, you know how much of a relief this is. HIs main backhoe guy, Sal, is extremely careful and skilled. I needed extensive drainage work, which required additional steps at every corner of the house, as additional problems were uncovered ( old house, old problems) but it was done efficiently and at a fair price. Best of all, No more water in the cellar! I would use them again for other work.
