Mike was awesome. Wasnt sure what the problem was at first so instead of changing everything out he took the time to test and analyze the system to get it figured out. End result was it cost less then I thought it would and its running beautifully!

My project is replace the oil boiler and install a water tank. Michael and his son are good guys. However, I was disappointed that they did something wrong on the project causing no hot water at the first floor and overheating on the second floor. Because they finished at 11:30pm at that day (too late than I expected), so I don't have time to check if everything is OK before they left. I found that issue on the next day when I came to that house again. I called him, and he said he will be here tomorrow. So on the next day, he and his son came working on the project again and fixed the problem.

Mike was prompt, and since we were out of town for part of the furnace replacement (oil to propane gas) he made sure that the house wouldn't freeze by putting diesel in the tank until the job was complete. He went over and beyond his scope of work.

I had another contractor installed a new zoning board about two months ago. After trying to reach that contractor with no success to come fix ssues I started having three days after the install, I used Hughes Plumbing & Heating. Hughe took 20 minutes to know exactly what my issue was, updated me the next day on the parts ordering process and explain different price options which included re-wiring the dampers zoning board, installing two new dampers. Now the heat throughout my house is strong.
