She texted me from your referral the same day I applied and asked for more information concerning my home. I told her about my home. She quoted me a price of 160.00. We set an appointment for the 30th. She came that morning after a call because she was lost but she had the address wrong. We talked outside and I explained more of what I wanted done. My father is elderly and his room needed extra attention. She agreed to that. I told her that I would pay her extra because I felt that 160 was not really enough because I have lots of plants and plant stands to move around and I wanted a really good clean. She told me not to worry that my house would be cleaned very well. She said she would give me a very thorough cleaning from top to bottom. We came in the house and walked through each room and I showed her what needed the most attention. I left her an envelope with $200 which I thought would be nice and bless her for doing a great job. My father was home and I went to work. She texted me around 1:30 and said she was finished. I came home a little after 6 pm from work. I immediately noticed my home smelled stale and just plain dirty. I have plug ins everywhere so it smelled fresh when I had left her there except for my dads room which we had discussed. Her vacuum must have been very dirty. The first thing I noticed after that was my finish in my fridge was really streaked so I wiped it down. Then moving into the room I saw dirt and hair at every threshold and clumps of dirt and hair so many places throughout the house. My laminate floor was very streaked and mottled looking. It looked very dirty. Worse than I had left it that morning. There was dirt behind every door and the baseboards had not been cleaned. As I moved into the bedrooms I noticed white hairs several places on my dressers. We do not have that color hair. She does however. I was so upset I began to cry. My husband came home and before he even saw me he started saying how awful the floors looked and he never notices anything. I have only ever hired someone to clean my house a couple of times over the last few years. I thought using your Angie list would be safe and o would get a professional job and I wouldn t have to worry. This has been one of the worst experiences and I am so very disappointed. We had been working very hard on the outside of the house for several months and had little time for cleaning. I was so excited to treat myself only to end up in tears. I am asking for advice as to how to handle this. I don t know if I should confront her myself but the whole point of going through you was to not have to worry. I really don t want her back in my home now. I do want my money back. I have over their Ty pictures that I took last night of the dirt, hair and her hair all over my furniture that I will be glad to provide.
