I hire Robert Hunter to repair my deck lift in June of 2025. Robert came out and inspected the lift and said I needed a new motor and an electric part. Robert insisted I pay him $350.00 cash for the day's work. A few days later, Robert called and told me I needed to send him an additional $1,376.00 through an online app for new parts. A few weeks later, the parts showed up and Robert came out to install them. Robert had ordered a motor that did not fit my application. He then tried to modify it to work. and it did not. Since he had modified the motor, he rendered it unreturnable. Robert then said he was going to take my original motor and have it repaired. Since then, I have not heard from him. Robert is screening my calls and won't respond to text messages. I actually called him on my wife's phone thinking he wouldn't recognize the number, and he did, indeed, answer. Robert was stunned that it was me he then gave me more lame excuses. Robert is a crook. BUYER BEWARE.
