Well, my saga continues with this company. finally, I was able to get in contact with Javier. We came to an agreement that we would split the cost of replacing my daughters window after trying to contact him unsuccessfully. Then, Javier said he could replace the glass pane. I did not hear from him. Then, I contacted him and he he claimed he had the window and asked if we could split the cost. I agreed. He said he would get with me to schedule the installation. After waiting for an installation date, I sent a text to him for an update. To this day, Javier has not made ANY attempt to return my text or replace the window as we agreed.

He was not trustworthy He does not answer his phone and you cannot leave a message on his phone number. His website is down and its difficult to get in touch with him.

I am very pleased with the work and pricing provided by Hurricane Windows and Doors. We replaced 11 windows, 3 entry doors, and 4 sliding glass windows. Javier was very thorough with the project quote and advisement of the project, and what would be taking place. His crew were always on time and very clean in their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. If there is only one thing that gave me some grief was the VERY LONG delivery time for the actual materials (windows, door, etc.). I don't blame Hurricane Windows and Doors as Javier did advised there would be at least a 12 week lead time for the order, so he even buffered in an additional 4 weeks (16 in total) to cushion expectations, which I agreed to. However ES Windows I believe is taking a little bit of advantage on current supply chain excuses to take care of bigger commercial projects first. So be aware this may be an issue for your project. Again I place no blame on Hurricane Windows & Doors, but did want to mention the frustration. So in summary I would definitely recommend Javier and his company for your Hurricane windows projects as they are clean, professional, and do great work.

Everything about my experience went well, installation was pretty seamless. Then, their is the owner, Javier. He is brash and rude. About a month after installation, my daughter's hurricane window cracked. I called Javier and he argued the fact that my young daughter pulled the window down too hard and caused the crack. All the time, Javier was rude and nasty. Also, the windows are under warranty. I called and called and called. I finally was able to reach him and he told me he would replace the window. A year later, no window replacement. I tried calling him recently, his phone mailbox was full. I sent a complaint to the Florida Department of Business Regulation and filed a complaint. All of this over a single bedroom window. Now, I will be filing in Small Claims Court.

Made an appointment for a quote and did not show up. If cannot keep a simple commitment, then I would be concerned about doing business with this professional. I waited for 30 minutes at 8 am in the morning The appointment was scheduled at his request, and he did not write me until 30 minutes later and told me he can stop by later Not the type of first impression you give a potential client.

"Hurricane Windows & Doors of Florida was contacted by this individual. He requested an 8am meeting. On the day of the meeting our secretary had a family emergency. As I tried to leave our showroom, we had a customer come in. We do not just throw customers out. I contacted the potential client notifying him I was running late. He became very belligerent and disrespectful. Potential customer wrote a nasty text so I informed him we wish to pass on providing him service. We reserve the right to refuse service and ensure the safety of our employees."

The quality of the doors and windows (many of them custom sized) is excellent. Javier's install crew did a fabulous job. There was a delay on the job of a couple of months, due to the manufacturer (Lawson) which they did verify. My only complaint was that I did not receive all the screens I was promised and after several attempts to get them from Javier, he brought some but not all. I finally decided I could live without them, but I advise not to make the final payment until you receive all promised items. The work and product quality, however, was top notch and outweighed my complaint.

Iâ  m late writing this review on my impact window project. Javier and his company were amazing. My house was not an easy job by no means but he offered the best ideas to get the job done. Job was in time , cleaned and the price I got after getting at least five quotes. Very happy with results and highly recommend this co and Javier (owner).

This is a great local business, from start to finish of the project Javier provided clear & accurate information. Walked me through the process and was always a call away. I had some travel dates I couldn't shift; Hurricane Windows & Doors was able to accommodate the changes in my availability. Work quality was great and cleaning crew came to wrap up anything the installers may have missed. Inspection was flawless. This is the perfect example of the type of company you want working in your home.

Stay away from this guys. Ordered my doors and windows replacement on April 2018, Still not finished. Some of the new doors still not good. Every time new excuses.

"Customer ordered product then asked for a refund. We refunded the funds. The customer then contacted us months later to reorder product. The customer is claiming he ordered a door instead of a fixed window. The contract clearly shows fixed. To accommodate his needs we ordered and absorbed the cost. Customer upset the product has 6-8 week lead time. His concerns have been addressed and we have apologized for the inconvenience of having to reorder. The customer is posting a bad review because he has used this as leverage so he does not pay his outstanding balance of 9300.00. He says if we waive his payment he will remove the posting."
