A service person came out at the appointed time, did the removal of 2 birds' nests, & sprayed in the 2 areas outside. A mess was left in these areas which I cleaned up & I initially didn't receive a contract guarantee for their outside work. So ...after being contacted by this company's owner to discuss my initial negative report & both parties realizing there was a miscommunication between us, I therefore have left this new review. I received a $40 refund (4 having 2 clean) and he gave me a 40 day guarantee on the work done (I do feel a 40 day guarantee isn't adequate, though). Also, at this time, I think that my property is still void of bird mites outside in those 2 areas and appreciate the refund for cleaning. Thank you.

I had a few bees flying around my family room in the afternoon. Actually, I thought they were wasps. Scooted two out the door and swatted two more. The next morning I woke up to more! The Hurst Exterminators were the only ones I called who understood my concern. Mike was able to have Steven, who was in the area, stop by within 30 min. Steven was friendly and calming, yet very professional. He checked the entire house and attic, killed one remaining bee in the ceiling fan and determined there was no indication of a nest. He even showed me the exterior vent the bees most likely accessed to get inside. To say the least, I was relieved! When I asked whether he accepted checks, he said there would be no charge for the inspection. Wow.....really....in this day & age?! Excellent service. Mike and Steven were AWESOME! Same day service wow! You don't get this type of service from most companies. Will hire them again for sure. The bees are gone and were so amazed by the process. Great pictures too! Mike went above and beyond. God bless them for their great big hearts.

Always have received good work from Home Advisors. .Having trouble with ants. Received a call from Mike Amato of Hurst Exterminators. Not only gave me a great quote compared to others that called BUT... said could be at my home within 2 hours. Mike was early and was very thorough, knowledgeable and quick. Gave us a 40 day guarantee and said ants should be gone within 24 hours. Said If not he would be back next day. They were gone!!!! I feel very comfortable in the job and in the knowledge I have 40 days guarantee!! Highly recommended Hurst. Ask for Mike Amato!

For the first application he said due to the zero lot line we share with the neighbor, it should be sprayed from their side yard also. The neighbor agreed and was happy for the free spraying. I would not have known about that needed coverage. It took him longer, but was done correctly & included at the agreed rate.

Our back yard was covered with gopher mounds; so much so that it was a risk to walk back there without the dirt giving way. We called Hurst and they sent someone out who gave us a very reasonable quote. They came out on the appointed day and essentially rid us of our gopher problems on their first visit but stated they would do weekly checks to ensure none returned. They came out as promised and 5 months after the initial 60 day warranty we're still gopher free.

I had a terrible gopher infestation. I also had three dogs, so Hurst couldn't use poisons in the back yard. They got the front yard under control, and they are still fighting them in the back yard with smoke bombs. They are going to try something new the next time, but I think they are going to be able to lick this problem.

I'm invaded with ants every summer everywhere. The exterminator arrived within time slot sprayed three gallons around our mobile, made sure I knew there was a 30 day warranty. It's only been a week, ants started leaving within hours and haven't seen a one since. Crossing fingers that it holds. Very pleased so far.

The men who showed up to do the work were very nice, however, one looked like he had slept in his clothes and was very disheveled looking. The other one seemed a bit confused about the paperwork and I received a call later from the man who was apparently in charge and he was irritated with me that I had not paid for the service. I was never asked for payment at the time of the service so assumed I would be billed as do many of the companies. Several areas in my home had spiders in the corners - some were removed and some spiders are still there following the service.

"I gave her a discounted quote of $160. I then explained (as I always do) that first time customers need to pay upon service. When my technicians showed up she told them that I had quoted her $140 and that she could mail the payment in (of course my tech was a bit confused by that). She then told my techs that there were areas that they could not treat because of her valuables (which hindered the quality of the treatment). All of our services come with a 30 day guarantee; We have not received any complaints, until this review, nor have we received payment (now 30 days later). P.S. When coming from a 110� attic, disheveled is an expected look."

These guys were great! They responded to my request for service within 30 minutes (I'm still waiting for Orkin to return my call) and they knew exactly what needed to be done and got right on it! I hope I never have to see them again, but if I do, this will be the company I call!
