Everything started out fine, but as the project dragged on, it was difficult to get them back to complete the job. The job created in a rush and some items left undone. Up until the last month or so of the project, the design, quality of initial work and attention to detail was great. The last month of the project was horrible.

I hired Billings to convert unused attic space into a bedroom. I might have rated them as satisfactory, but they did not get a builders permit for the job. I even asked them about it halfway through the job and they convinced me I didn't need one. Of course, I did and they finally admitted it. I found out they were not even registered to work in Frisco. They said they were going to resolve the issue, but that turned out to be lip-service. I would recommend using a different contractor based on their questionable business practices.

When we first met with this company's owners, we were very impressed with their professionalism. Our project manager understood what we were looking for and made design suggestions with which we are very pleased. We are extremely happy with how the project turned out. The issue we had was the level of customer service and the amount of time it took to complete this project. A kitchen remodel which was suppose to take 2-3 weeks took 10 weeks. Most of the delays were due to poor scheduling of subcontractors and lack of follow up on orders for materials. The Project Manager made numerous references to how small a project ours was and we feel this attitude affected the service we received. This company is probably very good with large, expensive projects but they need to learn to deliver on their promises no matter the size or cost of the project.

We looked at several contractors to finish out our upstairs bathroom that had just been stubbed out by our builder when we built in 1999. We went with Billings Indesign because Chad was very professional and extremely competitive with the other quotes we received. If you've ever done a project like this - you know that issues and questions pop up as you go - Chad was always available to us to address these and we feel this really kept the project on track. In the end we came with a beautiful new bathroom - that perfectly matched the other upstairs bathroom - and that was a "must" to get our house sold. Great experience - will absolutely use Billings Indesign again on future projects.

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
$50,000
We are very dissatisfied with the overall project stemming from delayed time commitments to poor workmanship from all subs with the exception of Electrical & fencing. The foundation was out of square, which caused the brick ledge to be incorrect, as well as framing issues which apparently caused poor drywall workmanship, which caused poor quality in tape, bed & texture. The painting was so unprofessional that I completed the final touches. Hardware was not ordered until the last minute which resulted in our back door remaining unlocked for MONTHS! and then the wrong color hardware was ordered several times. overall rating-NOT HAPPY!

Personally, I like Chad. He did show up on time and when the framers were on site they stayed until the job was done. There wasn't much over site from Chad as I was left to oversee the job myself, however, the price was right and he did show up when I called him over. The framers did a good job with cuts, but put some windows in upside down cracked two windows and just grabbed whatever materials were handy, resulting in mismatched trim. Overall, good job, (they did the addition without plans) but sloppy on details. The biggest let down was after I gave him the check. There was a large pile of debris that he promised to pick up. He never did.

The team at Billings Indesign was great to work with. They have very high standards, so I did not need to worry about the quality of work each subcontractor provided. The guys were great, and all financial dealings were above reproach. I would recommend this team to my parents, friends, and family without reservation.

This project was a room addition. I have had many remodeling projects done since we purchased this house. This project was one of the best.
