We eventually got what we wanted, but we had to closely supervise the crew at times, to make sure the landscape plan was done the way we wanted, and the way that they agreed to do it. For example, they tried to switch some of the plants with other, similar plants, and we only got what we wanted because we insisted on it. Also, the landscape designer/sales representative, did not communicate very well with the crew, concerning changes which the sales representative agreed to, but then did not communicate these changes to the crew doing the work. The end result was that we are happy with the way it came out.

They did an excellent job overall. The finished backyard looks very close to what the plans had shown. We love our new backyard. Hutchings was detail oriented and pleasant to work with.

My husband and I really enjoyed the friendliness of the people that were responsible for the design and execution of our landscaping project. The work is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the results. The people at Hutchings worked with us to create an amazing backyard that was conducive to sticking to our budget as well as took our ideas to the next level making our backyard more lovely than we imagined. The team is especially skilled at creating impressive water features that are out of this world and we can't wait to have a get together at our home to show it all off.

Byron was absolutely wonderful. And our back yard looks beautiful. One major problem - now we don't want to be in the house - we want to be outside all the time. Guess those dust bunnies will just reproduce until it's too stormy for us to be outside. :)

Very professional and the work was completed withing the time period given (roughly 2 weeks for our backyard).

They had a most interesting design, and did a good job of getting it done. They started a day later than I expected, but did hold to schedule. I'm not sure their costs/prices were especially low, but for what we got, we are very happy.

Like in almost every project, things didn't go exactly according to plan. Hutchings did a very good job. It took a little bit of prompting to make one final fix that was needed. But in the end they made everyhting right and we are very happy with our yard. This was a good learning experience. We would use them in the future.....we would just ask a lot more design questions next time.

My designer was great and very accommodating, he created a wonderful design and 2 other neighbors have used my yard as a starting point. The work was done on time and the staff always left the area clean. My only bad experience during this is that I did not receive all the plants that I was toils would be planted and some died during the cold winter and I have yet to see new ones planted.

We have not finished the job but thus far we are extremely happy. They are very courteous and prompt and pleasant - thus far work is very good

They need to follow instructions when installing devices they are not familiar with. I bought a new Rain Bird irrigation timer to accomodate the additional sprinklers, and they installed the thing wrong and broke the lid in the process! The instructions that came with the device showed how to properly install the thing. Worse, they said nothing about it to me, until I found out later after sign-off. Overall, they did a good job. Not excellent ... just good.

We've made a down payment on the work (scheduled for mid-June). The estimate was well done, landscaper is knowledgeable and accommodating. Will let you know about the work , once it's been completed.
