Hutton Power & Light, LLC
About us
We install and service residential and commercial electrical repairs, HVAC systems, home generators, parking lot lighting, custom home lighting, electrical panels, lighting upgrades, real estate inspections, and provide service on all makes and models of heating and air equipment. Estimates: Accurate repair estimates require a diagnosis by one of our experienced electricians or technicians on site: after working to diagnose what the problem is, we can provide a course of action to repair the problem along with several options for repair in most cases. New Install Estimates: require a diagnostic to determine if an installation is actually the best solution or if there is a possible repair instead, so that the Homeowner can choose what is best for their home. We have been hired as a second opinion numerous times to find that a homeowner was quoted for work they didn't actually need. We charge a nominal fee to cover our costs to provide this on-site service from our experienced staff.

"We apologize that your experience with us was less than 5 stars. We strive to provide that with each and every call and appointment. We are disappointed to learn that we did not in this case. Unfortunately, our crews were on an emergency outage that spanned longer than anticipated into your appointment window. Due to the nature of our work, sometimes emergency calls that are taking longer than anticipated or have other factors than described when dispatched, mean we must stay on site for safety and code compliance to ensure the customer and public is safe. All of our customers are our top priority but there are some instances where we have to continue on the current job for safety/ code reasons until it is completed and compliant. We didn't anticipate this unusual circumstance to arise and as soon as the crew got to safe working conditions to be able to reach out to update the dispatcher, your appointment window was almost up. Our dispatcher received notification to contact you and apologize for the delay and inform you of the need to reschedule. Our recordings indicate you reached out to our office at 12:05 when she was pulling up your file to call you and we apologize we didn't get to you first as it was always our intention. We understand our customer's time and projects are very important to them and we highly respect that, we do everything we can within our own willpower and crews to provide service but whenever a situation may arise that would prevent us from getting to you in a reasonable time we feel it is best to refer you to another trustworthy contractor in an effort to keep you from waiting for us. The most important thing is that you're taken care of, even if that means it isn't by us because your safety and needs are our top priority. We're sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding. We hope we can earn your business in the future. Sincerely, The Hutton Power & Light Team"

"Christopher, Your job was for a commercial receptacle that burnt up. A three-phase 30 amp circuit. We responded to your service call with a crew of a licensed electrician and a helper to provide service quickly to Duck Donuts. You were told about the Commercial Service call fee up front and that it would apply to any quoted repairs. You were presented with a quote to repair service to your donut fryer circuit and you accepted it. The crew executed the work as promised. Reading your comments I am confused. It looks like you were happy with everything until after the fact when your business partner was not happy with the price, who was not a part of the service call at any point. What I am interpreting is you were happy with the service, you were happy with our professionalism, but you think that our charge for our services was too high. Which you agreed to the price up front?"
