Wood Fence - Install
David Hyder did a great job on our new brick wall. He was really easy to work with and before he even had our bid he went to a brick place and found the perfect bricks. He sent pictures to me throughout the project during the day so I could see their progress while I was at work. They left our yard in better shape than they found it in! Will definitely call him for other projects!

We contracted with Hyder to build a new home for us. The cost included everything except for electrical and roofing which we were supplying ourselves. As the project proceeded we were asked to pay for more items out of the contract (plumbing, central air and heat, brick). They have been working on our house for 7 months with multiple weeks going by without anything being done. We have paid the full contract at this point and still don't have any cabinets, interior doors, granite, trim work or wood flooring. The only reason I rated him as I did is his quality of work is ok because I have overseen everything his crews did. His customer service and value for the money got the lowest rating I could give. Wish I could rate it lower. David H. won't return my calls, won't answer my texts. When I go by his warehouse there isn't anyone there. My only recourse at this point is to file charges with the Sheriff's office. He ripped us off for over $30,000. Please save yourself the grief and find a reputable contractor.

"As for your so called contract we did abide this until you the customer decided to bring your sub contractor friends in because you wanted to use someone cheaper. The plumber, The electrician, the heat and AC The roofer The brick mason you basically took all the core parts of the contract away from our company. This also being said all the changes and additions that you requested we provided and you never once paid for any of the extras. I've always made myself available to you especially when you call, text and email 15 times a day. As for coming by the shop we go to work at 7am and return later in the day, the jobs are not at our shop."

Deck, Fence, Patio or Porch - Clean and Seal
I had a 15' by 18' wood deck with 12 rotted boards which were replaced, and the deck and banisters pressure washed due to mold and mildew buildup. The crew of three men completed the work in about 4 hours and were very hard working and courteous. They had to move and replace a lot of deck furniture, pots, etc. Mr. Hyder visited the deck, sent me a proposal, and inspected the final job. I am very satisfied with the result.

Wood Fence - Install
my old fence started collapsing, lost a cat (likely to coyotes). David and his crew helped me out fast, reasonably and safely. They work around your schedule and vehicles. He sticks to his price quote and doesn't play games. His company is local and is experienced. I will likely use his services again.

Very poor service! We hired Hyder Construction & Renovations after Hurricane Harvey flooded our home. They have been working on our home for 7 months. Owner has almost all of my money but will not finish the job. Owner will never answer his phone and we can't get any workers out to our house. The quality of the work is a joke. It is so unfortunate to have your home flooded and have sorry people take full advantage of you. I would never recommend this company!!!!

Mr. Hyder was excellent at communication from the beginning, and throughout the project. His crew did a great job in flooring out my attic.
