Hydraulics Mechanical, Inc.

As new homeowners to an old house, when we discovered a gas leak and got our gas shut off by National Grid, we were very panicked to hear that getting gas back would require a major overhaul of all our existing old systems. We used HomeAdvisor and got referrals for three different plumbers. While the cost was fairly similar across everyone, we chose Angelo because he quoted a far shorter time period to get gas (in days) versus everyone else who thought it would take several weeks, and his scope of work was far more complete. Angelo's approach was to replace the majority of our gas piping which would definitely solve the problem. The other two plumbers were quoting a piecemeal approach to testing and repair, which meant the cost estimates were a "best estimate" and without certainty. I'm very excited to write that we just got our gas restored in three business days! Angelo and his team arrived on time and worked very hard to replace all of our gas piping and to get everything code. The team was hugely professional, deeply experienced in this type of work, and most importantly, got our gas back very quickly. In addition, Tina (who manages the office) is very responsive, professional, and courteous. After getting our emergency gas back, we now have one more building inspection to go, with Angelo laying out details. In short, we highly recommend Hydraulics Mechanical for gas line repair and work. They delivered exactly as promised and made a very stressful situation for a new homeowner much better.

I can not thank Angelo enough for his service. He will do what he says. A man of his words and gets the job done!

Tina and Angelo are perfect examples of quality work and excellent customer services walked us through every single step and past their finish point I would recommend them every single day. Thank you so much Tina

They came early to the appointment which is unheard of

There are very professional, quick, on time. Work was done within less than 24 hours. Waiting only for the paperworks to be done now. Definitely recommend them to my friends for their future projects.

Tina and Evangelos were very courteous and professional. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. His crew did a professional job installing the new gas piping. The installation was done in a timely manner and they left the area clean. Evangelos inspected the work and assured me there would be no gas leaks. This is exactly what happened when National Grid came to turn on the gas and inspect the installation. Thank you for a job well done.

Evangelo and Tina are amazing. They work very hard to satisfy their customers needs. They don t procrastinate they get the job done right away. Thank you Evangelo and Tina for a job well done. The only minor issue was a little mess was left behind after the work was completed; But was during the holiday so they were probably rushing to spend time with their families.

I contracted Hydraulics Mechanical to do an emergency gas leak repair at our family home in Queens. Angelo was quickly responsive, honest and diligent regarding following National Grid procedures, very hard working on a large difficult job, and got it all done in one day so we were not left without gas for the house. His work and time were and excellent, fair and transparently communicated value. And a big thank you to Tina for quick communication on appointment timing and electronic delivery of paperwork. Excellent grade A++ business experience with a really great group of friendly, honest, hard working people. THANK YOU!

Angelo and Hydraulics did a great job helping me out of a stressful situation. He came to my house the same day my gas was shut off by the gas company because their inspector detected a leak in my pipes. He explained the process to me and gave me a written proposal the next morning. He and his admin assistant knew the process of getting permits, he has the right certifications, and they filed all the necessary paperwork. Angelo and an assistant did the work the next business day. They were clean and courteous. I would definitely recommend them for any home plumbing job. They cost plenty but they did the job quickly and with no hassles.

Great job, timely and efficient.

Angelo did such a wonderful job that the National Grid guys asked who was responsible for the awesome work! Angelo even worked hard to get National Grid to come out to restore my gas as soon as possible. Indeed, plumbing with a heart!

The plumbers were knowledgeable and prompt. My gas leak problem was resolved in 24 hrs. It was expensive but worth the peace of mind.

Hydraulics Mechanical in one word is an excellent company. Thank you to Angelo and Sixto for a very nice job in replacing the main gas lines in my house.I highly recommend this company. Thank you.

I originally hired Hydraulics Mechanical to repair and replace a broken main gas line and subsequent piping to meet the requirements to have the gas service turned back on by Con Edison. Mission accomplished in a very timely fashion, all certificates and inspections done faster than I thought. Work done in a most professional fashion and the area was left cleaner than when the work first started. I was so pleased with the work done on my moms gas lines that I hired Hydraulics Mechanical to replace my gas hot water heater and again was most pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the condition of the work area when done. I highly recommend Angelo and his team.

Everyone from the secretary to the mechanics were professional. I was constantly updated throughout the entire process. The workmanship was top quality & I wouldn t hesitate to recommend Hydraulics Mechanical to anyone who needed a gas service repair.

If you hire Angelo and Tina you will PAY. However, between Angelo's technical expertise and Tina's prowess with permits and interfacing with the necessary beaurocracy you will get your money's worth. My gas shut off issue was resolved in a couple of days. Would have been resolved even sooner if National grid hadn't been so busy because Angelo finished the job in a day. He then went above and beyond, taking a look at my incorrectly connected stove and my hot water heater. As a new homeowner it was very valuable to me to have his know how. And Tina is top of line in communication and following up. Thanks y'all!

Angelo and his team are best in class. Very personable and responsive. Tina was superb, not only coordinating project from to start to end, but also booing my appointment with national grid. Excellent job.
