They were referred by a home improvement contractor who had used them for encapsulation at his home. I was unable to have encapsulation as I do not have enough clearance in the crawl space. However, the basement was wet, as it is half the year, and has been even since we moved in the house fifty years ago. The representative said that they do waterproofing. I laughed---have heard this before. Then he explained how they do it and I realized that their way was the way to do it correctly. The price was reasonable---or at least it was worth it to me. The workers were pleasant and competent. I was at work several of the days. It was done in the summer of 2021, and to date I have a dry basement. There is one spot that they said they could not do, and some moisture comes in there, but no more standing water, so I can use the basement for storage, etc. I was very favorably impressed and would recommend them. I think their main work is encapsulation and mold remediation, but they were spot on for basement waterproofing. (If the man who built the house had put in drain tiles there would never have been a problem; we have clay soil which does not drain well.) So glad Hydro Heroes knows how to do the work. My only issue was there was a lot of dust from taking up cement, as they did not clean it up very well. Maybe a broom or shop vac should be on the trucks.

HydroHero is a quality operation! The work they performed on my home was exactly as described in the contract and was completed correctly, the first time! I had examples of three different encapsulation contractorâ s work in my neighborhood. Not only was the difference in the quality crawl space work performed by HydroHero clearly visible, their pricing was more than competitive! The crew was friendly / respectful of our home and property. They arrived each morning early, to prepare for work / start on time, WOW! Despite working long and hard, each day before they left, the entire site was cleaned as if they'd never been there! The work was completed in the time estimated, at the cost estimated WITHOUT them trying to "up sell" or add to our total. Having work performed on your home can be very stressful, Len and his entire staff made certain this project ran smoothly, the work was performed correctly and on budget. We canâ t thank HydroHero enough!

A previous contractor had told us there was mold throughout the attic and we should have all of the blown-in insulation removed and replaced. HydroHero inspected and said there was just limited mold that could be treated without removing the insulation. We asked them, as a precaution, to include fogging the attic, which they added for just $100. The crew was friendly, polite and efficient. The only knock I have is that they didn't really have a plan to minimize the snow/salt they tracked into the house. They tried to clean it up as best they could before leaving. But it required mopping after they left. I'd suggest they use booties over their shoes in the future.

We learned so much from the inspection conducted and estimate presented by Robert. It was unexpected to have someone respond so quickly to our inquiry and such a knowledgeable person come out to inspect the crawlspace. He took the time to explain the process, both the strategies to clean and treat all mold covered surfaces, add a dehumidifier and install sump pumps to redirect the problem ground water and then encapsulate underneath the house His recommendations were confirmed by two other inspections and our home owners insurance claims adjuster. We became more confident with each additional estimate and more comfortable with Robert's answers to our many questions. The crew worked energetically day after day after day in very cramped spaces around air conditioning and heating ducts to transform a very damp, muddy space into a clean, dry accessible area. The work was conducted professionally and respectfully with good communication at each stage of the project. Robert and his crew did a terrific job from start to finish and we were pleased with the attention to detail throughout. Excellent !

Is not truck mounted equipment, but the machinery is professional grade, so you can't rent that machine in a store. The machine suction was pretty powerful. The gentlemen who cleaned the carpets were very professional and polite, and they really put muscle in to the job.

They were very knowledgeable and gave me hands on information on maintenance and care for my carpet.
