"Mrs. R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] is correct that I did show up late 10 minutes the first time. When I first made contact with her she did not state correctly what type of fabric she had on her sofa. I thought it was a microfiber material but when I arrived it turned out to be a pleather material, which is an artificial leather or faux leather. I did not have the cleaner to clean it due to the fact that the last time I cleaned a pleather sofa was approximately 5 years ago. Pleather has gone the way of Haitian cotton, obsolete. And to add insult to injury she had her adult children visiting from out of state that day. Hence, the cleaning. So I already had two strikes against me. I rescheduled an appointment (2nd time) and called to let her know that I was on my way. The current job, prior to her, wanted extra items cleaned beyond what was originally hired for. While speaking to Mrs. R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] she replied, "Don't bother showing up." and as previously stated, I was fired. Must have been a fan of the TV show The Apprentice. Three strikes. I have been in business for over 30 years and once in a while you come across a customer, whether it's your fault, another person, or a combination of both, that you just cannot please or make amends to. Therefore, you learn from this and move on. I have no ill feelings or grudge toward Mrs. R. [Consumer name withheld at their request] and I hope she feels likewise. Kind regards, Phil."
