Very responsive and reasonably priced

HyrdoTec came through when other pool repair companies didn’t. Our waterfall quit working 2 days before the close on the sale of our house. I called several places and no one could get out as soon as we needed. I called HydroTec and Andy was able to come out within an hour or so. He quickly fixed the air leak that was preventing the water to pump and flow to the water fall. I would recommend HydroTec for sure.

Very professional, find the problem and repaired it. Excellent customer service. Andy did excellent work. On time and answered all my questions. Will use them again.

Andy called within minutes of our request for service and was at our residence within 20 minutes. He reviewed the situation and we set an appointed day. When he arrived the new multiport valve was installed and we were up and running in about an hour. Additionally, we overpaid him on the invoice presented and the next day he was at our front door with cash in hand returning the difference! From where I stand, that speaks to his honesty.

He called immediately after I put in request. I told him what I needed, he agreed. Got the part and put it in the next day. I was very pleased with his work. It was a good product and good service.

Horrible service. I literally have footage of them coming and not doing a thing to the pool. Do not think they ever shocked it. We are being lazy and putting chlorine tabs in the skimmer instead of the auto chlorinator (Causing unneeded damage to the pump due to chlorine exposure). The last straw was when I had developed yellow algae in the pool (It stormed a lot for a week straight, so understandable), and then Andy himself came to clean the pool, he scrubbed along the tile line very lightly, but did not scrub and of the walls or floor that had algae on it. My pool was constantly acidic and I do not think it was ever checked.I fired this company on June 30th, and my credit card was charged on July 1st (again, understandable due to the timing) for July treatment. I requested a refund and have not receive a response yet, and just sent an email back to Andy and received an undeliverable notice.These guys were cheaper than the rest, but save yourself some headaches and go with a better company. You get what you pay for. I originally hired this company because I had some black algae that I needed to get rid of. They did a great job with that, and removing the rust stains that had developed from previous owners. But in the process, I got yellow algae. He said he had to lower the chlorine levels to treat the rust stains. Okay, I am not an expert, but then the yellow algae was never scrubbed, nor was the pool chocked. It was just left. When I confronted him about it, the next day the chlorine was off the charts, but nothing had been scrubbed. He said that if the chlorine was that high and I still had yellow algae, it must be the filters on the pump. I bought new filters (for the record, the old filters were running at 21 PSI and when I installed the new filters they were running at approx. 19.5 PSI) and installed them, and still nothing. I ended up having to take care of my own pool even though I was paying someone to do it!Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Reliable, Efficient, Friendly, Knowledgeable.

It takes a lot to upset me, but lack of customer service does it every time. After 5 days of waiting on a call or a return visit to complete the job I hired another company to finish the work. When I cancelled the project, after calling the man, I got a string of texts that I'm sure he would not want posted in his review. I will however, be contacting HomeAdvisor tomorrow at opening and inform them of his handling of the situation. I'm sorry to have to report this, it truly is disappointing to me that a company in the service industry would act this way.

I hate giving bad reviews, but this was one of my worst merchant experiences ever. Terrible customer service and terrible pool cleaning service. Owner Andy is either un-knowledgeable or lazy. He remained non-communicative with me throughout the experience and when I reached out to him for answers, his responses were sarcastic and downright rude. He will take your money and barely even try to correct your issue. I hired him in April 2018 to clean my pool and get it back to summer condition. Admittedly it was green but that happens sometimes. I've had a pool for 18 years and I've seen what pool service companies can do with a green pool. After over a month of NO progress he blamed my equipment and had every other excuse in the book. I fired him and hired another company and my pool was clear within 24 hours. He replies with sarcasm to every bad review he gets so I fully expect that, but be WARNED before you hire him. I only give half star because you have to rate with something. Truth is ZERO stars.

Andy did a great job! He replaced our pool motor. Showed up on time and completed the project in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing pool repair services in this area.

Great to work with

We hired Hydrotech after a terrible experience with another pool company. Hydrotech got our pool balanced, got rid of the algae, and got our older quipment working properly again. Thanks to Andy we now enjoy our pool again nstead of being frustrated with it. We highly recommend!

Very flexible

Was quick to respond to my request for quotes. They have the same trouble as other companies ....large turnover and occassional lapses in quality, but are very quick to respond when there are minor issues.
