I 5 Exteriors, Inc.

I could not be more disappointed with this company. I chose i5 Exteriors, Inc. because they had a 3 year craftsmanship warranty. Unbeknownst to me, they contracted out to a smaller local company to do the work, and that company was very unprofessional and did a poor job. We also failed to have a in depth inspection done by our i5 Exteriors project manager as he got arrested for driving a work truck while drunk around the same time. I paid $40,000 for the deck, and it is done sloppily and has areas that I am concerned will not hold up. We have spent over 1.5 years trying to get i5 to come fix it. Save your money, time, and sanity by hiring a contractor who actually cares.

This might have been the worst building experience in my life. Stairs repeatable rebuild. Started good with notifications of when things would be happening, then it fell apart. They still owe us for a tarp we had to purchase to cover the roof on the deck because it had a finished wood ceiling and no roof during the rain. The pony wall was built without plywood and paper, and had to be redone., skylights were installed sloppy, cracks in the finished pillars. And we had an estimate for a second project that we wanted to be done that we have never heard back on. Probably a blessing we worked harder on trims and finishes then they did. They used subcontractors that were very nice but this was their first deck job and we have a 3/4 picture framed deck. Make sure your project manager is the same throughout! Oh, and they expected full-price payment. Never pay before the job is done.

This team knows what they are doing fast professionals. I will only use them for roof and siding jobs in the future

The customer service was good but the roofers did not notify me of significant dry rot at the roof soffits even though they replaced the fascias that were connected to them. The soffits ended up falling apart after the fascias were replaced. They did the job they were hired to do but I had hoped for more holistic care.

i5 replaced our 43-year-old cedar shake siding with Hardie Plank siding (fire-resistant!), and did an outstanding job. Every employee on the job was professional, courteous, and extremely careful in their work, despite some less-than-pleasant weather conditions. We ran into only one issue, which had to do with some overzealous painting during the aforementioned weather conditions. (Don't let them paint your gutters if you can avoid it.) But i5 stood by their warranty and took care of the issue without argument. You might need to make repeated calls to encourage the busy project manager to make it all happen, but they'll get there. These are very good people who know how to do a job right!

I would advise anyone considering using this company to absolutely not! It started with their salesperson Brad making all kinds of promises that did not happen. Every part of our project had to be redone. We had them build a covered porch with paver walkway and porch. The covered part of the porch had to be torn down and rebuilt 3 times. the pavers had to be redone and the gutters leaked. They sent out a crew that had no idea what they were doing. They left big messes all over our yard and driveway. They did not work safely or efficiently. The crew would show up at 10am, work for an hour, take an hour lunch, and leave at 2 pm every day. We were told this would be about 2 weeks to complete. We signed the contract on February 4th and the project was completed on July 21st. Our project manager Eric made excuse after excuse, that is when he would respond. He mostly just didn't respond. I called their office several times and everybody I talked to was so sorry about everything, but nothing changed. The overall project turned out just okay, not what we asked for and were promised. They stopped working on the unfinished project for at least a month before I even could get someone to respond. They left pavers on my grass for a month and killed my grass. They left sand and garbage in my driveway for over a month so I couldn't use my driveway. They left a portable toilet in front of my house for months. I could go on and on but basically, this was, by far, the worst contractor experience I have ever had. Terrible work practice, terrible communication, and total lack of respect. And to top it all off, we were told that we would not have to pay anything until the job was complete, however, we got a phone call saying that our payment was delinquent before the job was complete. I honestly don't know how this company is still in business.

The gutters look good. It would have been nice if the installers cleaned up the mess they created (meaning, the debris from the gutters were just left were they dropped). Their ladders dragged a bunch of gravel onto our lawn. Pretty obvious. The installers never even told us when they were done. They just left. They could have walked the property and shown us what they did.

They will never call back about the warranty. Very sloppy craftsmanship. I would not recommend them. They showed my roof on their ad. I did not give them permission to show my roof.

They were extremely well organized and efficient. Tuesday the materials and drop box were delivered. Wednesday they put the new roof on and they cleaned up all the debris. Thursday morning one crew member finished the final touches and reassured me regarding repairs to the roof before installing the shingles. and the drop box was removed.

The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't install insulation in the walls to start, and there was a bit of miscomnunication with a couple of minor things.

The crew was pleasant, everything was well organized, and they cleaned up after the job. The office staff kept me informed about a start date. The weather in winter determines when they can install the roofing.

They were able to get in fast and get the work done. if the tenant hadn't been getting in the way it would have been done even faster. Anyway, excellent work was done.

Everybody was very professional from start to finish. They showed up on time, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great cleanup too. Just a great experience all the way through!

Did a great job replacing our deck with Trex. We would definitely hire them again.

New in town, had an emergency roof leak. Called several businesses with no return calls - or we can see you in 2 days. With water running into the house, waiting was not an option. Called I5 Restoration Inc and left message. Not only did they return my call, but Chad and Morris were out within the hour. They were able to do the repair (in the rain), quickly and efficiently. Wonderful company and super people. Will be using them to get my entire roof replaced. This should be the only roofing call you make!

The crew that removed the old roof and installed the membrane was prompt and pleasant to have around. The installation crew cam soon after. It was rainy and the wind made it too dangerous the first day, so they completed the job the next day. Everything went well. Ii would reccomend 15 restorations .

Chad and his team provided excellent workmanship, project was on time and on budget.

since repair is recent and I had to wait 3 months to find out that repair by another company was not good, I am refraining from strong recommendation. I liked the enthusiasm and attentive listening provided, but I have not heard back about the sap-leaking beams in the roof issue (repair was March 17, 2015). I appreciated that they were there ahead of schedule and spent time making sure I understood and could "see" the work they had done (showing photos).
