They were on time, very polite and pleasant to talk to. They did a good job.

I submitted a rating of 2 because the techs who initially serviced the heat pump didn't seem knowledgeable of the system/make although their website listed Trane. When I called IJ Tech, I said it was not an emergency. Rebekah said everyone was scheduled and it would be 2 days before someone could come but she would see if anyone was there who could come sooner. She said someone could come today. I said that sooner was better. Rebekah called following my review and explained the first techs were installers and not service techs but she thought they could check the heat pump. The service tech who later installed the repair parts was knowledgeable. My initial overall rating would have been higher if service techs had come and provided the expected better service.

My heat went out in 5 degree temps, I needed someone quick. They responded, and got the job done.

IJ Tech: I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The person they sent to service our furnace was awesome. He was incredibly thorough with everything and made sure to explain in full detail. This company has a valuable employee that I would hope to see back next year. As for Home Advisor: I was a bit unsure when I first started the process of hiring someone. All of the local oil companies that I reached out to had a minimum of a six week wait. Home advisor you got me someone scheduled that same week and the price was competitive or less than any of the local companies. It was an incredible first experience using this service. I would recommend this to everyone.

Buyer beware! Had a brand new HVAC unit installed and was done half assessed! Installer supervisor which is a part owner does not know how to read a contract. He was upset with me when he found out there was additional work to be done. Poor communication between salesman (Joel Moore) and service. Discuss the install at the start of the job and he did what he wanted to do anyway. They ordered the wrong unit, did not have the right tools for the job, scratch my washer and left our home filthy. (I have pictures) Left our home WITHOUT pressure testing our gas line (did not have the tool) gas supplier came out and tested the line and determined that the line was NOT safe to use. (Gross Leak) Spoke to Jody Hoffman co-owner and he said he was embarrassed over the quality of the install and he would make it right. Company came back out re-ran the gas line and pressure test the system. Fixed the electrical issues that they caused and fastened the line set that they forgot to do the first time. Caulked the gap around that vent lines that again they forgot to do. Discuss additional concerns with the install with Jody and he refused to make it right. He explained that he loss money on this job and the rest of the work was good enough. He said prove the scratch on the washer was us! I offered to show him how his worker used my washer as their work bench but he was more concerned about how much money he lost on this job. Placed a service call to address system imbalances and was told there is nothing more that they are willing to do. During the summer I placed a few more calls to address the outside unit rattling like a tin can but was told again there is nothing they can do. On 8/30/2018 a tech came out to address water on the unit and the floor. Discover that a water had made it's way to the control cabinet. He cut the intake vent line off the unit and the tech said "we will get back to you with a plan of action for the intake condensation". He also addressed the rattling outside unit by bending the surround inward. (Great FIX) Needless to say I have NEVER received a follow up call. I have contacted this company more times than I can count. I have even emailed Jody Hoffman personal email several times with NO response. Recently had a inspection performed by a gas company and was told that my gas service is NOT IFGC compliant. Great!!!

This company has a communication problem they charged me money with out doing the job and did not clarify the upfront charges. This office personnel is not very kind.

The company was great but their travel expense was more than the labor which made our bill very high but the company was very satisfactory. I wouldn’t hire them again because they’re too far away.

Over charged hidden fees. Would not recommend if you live outside the Harrisburg area...

Be aware that you'll pay $1.33/minute travel time to and from their place of business to your home. Same rate if they have to travel to get parts. Make sure your job site is not 2 hours away from their shop!!

Joel was very easy to work with and he explained everything in detail that needed to be done to my daughters house, He was very understanding and professional

It was great to get this fixed the same day that I hired this company. The work was done quickly, professionally and explained to me throughout the process and in summary when concluded. I will definitely use them again.
