We called twice they did not return calls. Lowes called them they said they would contact us. Have not done so. Our project is on hold waiting for IRS. We do not have a contract with them yet because they have not followed through.

Overall great experience. Would recommend highly.

Although IRS was very responsive and efficient when it came to testing for asbestos they ignored multiple requests for the follow up abatement work. Although they did finally provide a quote via email I called and emailed asking for clarification and a quote for a variation on the job multiple times - to which they ignored. It's ok to tell a customer that you can't take the job but it's not ok to ignore their multiple requests and leave them hanging. So, I guess if you're just looking for testing they're fine....but good luck getting them to follow up. They didn't have any problem following up with an invoice however.

This was extremely user friendly; quick and easy with prompt results. The only issue I had was finding out how to interpret the results.

We hired IRS Environmental to remove asbestos tiles from a basement. The bid included all necessary DEQ permits, disposal costs, and air monitoring. The job was completed on time and they did a nice job. When I asked for the air monitoring report/results they told me that none was needed because the tiles removed were non-friable, but I thought the bid included the cost for final air monitoring. Other contractors that bid the job also included the final air monitoring cost in their bids. I had to ask for the final disposal manifest for the floor tiles, which was provided timely. I am not sure if I paid for air monitoring that wasn't needed.

IRS delivers quick results and affordable testing and put our mind at ease on testing our home project for asbestos.

Great Service, reasonable price

They were very good. We got the test back in a few days which made it easier for us to find out how much we had to do on the floor. Everyone was very courteous.

The technician from IRS, Bob Gordon was prompt and professional from initial call follow up to the actual testing. He gave my wife a lot of information and pointed out several other hot spots we need to consider. We are waiting for the test results and a bid for removal if Asbestos is present. Justin

The person (Larry) was experienced and knowlegable about Asbestos and performed the job (asbestos removas) appropriately for his personal safety as well keeping our household free of asbestos.
