I hired Icon Solutions (aka Phil) as our draftsmen for my grandparents house. I asked for exact plans of the house as is. He agreed to give me â exactâ plans of existing structure and took barely 30 minutes (including a video interview) to survey the site. I explained how important it was to me to keep my grandfathers exact design. The plans he delivered had miss measurements for window sizes and where those widows were placed. Phil put the HVAC unit in a fairly large bathroom and created building construction blockages and cost over runs by giving inaccurate plans which I had to take back from my framing crew as issues began to emerge which were not accurate to the original structure. Phil was supposed to deliver these plans to us before the house was torn down but was weeks late getting â paperâ and in order to stay on budget we tore down the house before he delivered the blue prints. Imagine our horror when we started using them and getting results from our framing crew which were definitely not how the original was built. It was then that we began looking over Phils drafts and realized he had not made â exactâ measurements and there was no way to get the existing structure back. When we asked him about making changes to the windows based on measurements I had taken previous to hiring him he agreed but never delivered the promised changes. I regret hiring him and have asked him (ICON solutions) for a refund which he is currently refusing to grant though he has acknowledged his failure to give â exactâ blueprints and to deliver within the agreed upon time frames. I would not recommend Icon Solutions unless accurate plans are not a requirement for your project.

Very knowledgeable about the work they do

Started the project of design on a 2 story room addition, on Feb 24th, 2021. We received part of the blueprints, elevation and room design, but could never get the electrical, plumbing, materials, fireplace design, or HVAC blueprints. We were told this was all part of our design at the beginning the project. We paid for the service in full. After multiple phone calls and text, here it is May 5th and still no mechanical, or finished blueprints. Hard to bid a job when you don't know what the job is. Will never use again.

He did a very good job. He is a work horse. Does everything to the best of his ability and went above and beyond

If I would need to hire someone, I'd hire them.
