Ideal Temp

Ideal Temp was great from start to finish. They provided a thorough consultation and explained clearly what needed to be done to optimize the heating and cooling in our house. The install crew Caleb and Derrick were Amazing. They communicated with us throughout the install process and were very considerate of our dogs and home. Very impressed with the quality of the work! Will be recommending Ideal to family and friends.

Carlota was my first contact with Ideal Temp. She is very friendly and quick to help Matt, the owner, is very accommodating with evening appointments. He quickly and in laymen s terms discussed the air conditioning situation. He pointed out problems with the system that had never been mentioned before by other companies that had performed maintenance over the past 10 years. The installation of the new AC unit was done on time as promised. Both technicians worked together quickly and efficiently. I am extremely pleased

Business owner made the initial appointment, but called at the last minute and sent estimates without ever seeing the house. Asked me to send him pictures. However, the weather was pretty bad that day, so I didn't object. Their prices were good. The installers were friendly and professional. However, I had a contract to have a Bryant A/C unit installed, and didn't notice until they were almost complete that they had installed a Payne unit instead. I was told the Bryant was out of stock from the distributor and he actually paid MORE for the Payne unit. They swore that the two were identical other than the name plate. I agreed to allow them to complete the install because the temps were climbing that week and I didn't want to go without A/C longer. Unfortunately these issues made the overall experience using Ideal Temp less than ideal.

Having problems with our furnace, we contacted Ideal Temp Heating and Cooling and they responded quickly and professionally. After looking at our options we decided to replace our furnace and air conditioner. They were very quick to replace everything and did a wonderful job. Time will tell how things work out but for now I am very satisfied with the work that was done. A very professional staff.

The service provided was a spring check up for air-conditioning and heat. Because of COVID-19 we set up a specific route through the house and into the basement for the technician. Caleb , the technician,was quick and efficient. Sidenote: it would be great if the techs when they are running late, would notify the client BEFORE the time that theyâ  re supposed to show up. It would eliminate unneeded calls and texts.

Excellent people, very courteous, professional and then get the job. They are very knowledgeable of what they do, especially Matt; he is the owner and knows his job well.

My furnace went out this weekend and I had called a few other companies, who were either "several days out" or wanted to charge $300+ to come out. I called Ideal Temp and the woman that answered the phone (Her name was Carlota I think) was very nice, and she told me they would send a technician out within the hour. Caleb was the technician and he was very helpful. He was able to diagnose the issue and get our heat working in less than an hour. I highly recommend this company. This was the first good experience ive ever had with a home service company.

Matt with Ideal Temp was extremely knowledgeable and provided input that we had not heard from other HVAC companies. Matt's team was very professional and courteous during the install of the AC and furnace system. I was impressed with the information he had regarding issues with our existing system that we were not aware of. He showed confidence in his approach how he would do things to resolve the way our system was miss-configured. He explained each concern and how he would resolve in detail. We have experienced some health issues that could be resolved with Matt'a corrections. Matt handled our questions and concerns with an approach that put my wife and I at ease. Many times dealing with professionals you do not get that... not with Matt. Thanks again for the quality work from you and you team at Ideal Temp.

excellent service and fast work

When our heater started going out, I had 4 companies come to my house for bids. Three of them were the larger companies advertised on TV, and Ideal Temp was recommended by Angie's List. When Matt came, he was very thorough in going over what his company would offer. He took almost an hour to sit down and discuss options. Matt offers "apples to apples" with other company's bids, and he is true to his word. His customer service has been exemplary, and he is quick to respond to questions or concerns. I know there are larger companies out there, but Matt's prices were more competitive compared to their "standard pricing", and he gets to know you personally. Matt was more than willing to go the extra mile and treat us as a friend, not just another customer. I would highly recommend giving this company an opportunity to bid a job for you if looking for a replacement. Hands down, best decision we made in going with Ideal Temp Heating and Cooling.

I called the company because my central AC unit was not cooling the house. Matt was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He changed the filter, hosed out the unit and unclogged the drain on the boiler. He was quick and efficient. I will hire him again.

Matt bid the move of both my existing a/c units to the backyard and the replacement of one of them and also a matching high efficiency furnace and electronic air cleaner. Ideal Temp completed this complex move and installation in 8 hours whereas 6 other larger and more advertised companies had bid multiple days or no-bid the job due to the space limitations and electrical circuit complexities of an older house. He cheerfully met all my exacting equipment specifications and installation appearance suggestions. These ARE the people you want to address all your HVAC needs... especially if you want your new equipment installed both quickly and the right way.

Matt did an excellent job. Before quoting he came out to our house to review the current system to make sure he had a full understanding of the work. He did research based on some questions we had and got back to us with answers even before we agreed to him doing the job. Matt was flexible even after a mistake that I made. He did a complete replacement of our furnace and air conditioning system and did a neat professional job. Matt is very concerned about doing things the right way.

They were nice guys

I would use Ideal Temp again, Matt came on two different occasions.. I have a very old unit and he was trying to do a quick repair as it was hot. I called a second time as it quit working he came again and did another repair at no charge. Matt was very helpful and goes out of his way to help. He explained what the whole process entailed. When I am ready to replace my unit I will be using Ideal Temp.

The workers are great but customer service is slow in getting started!
