I had the exterior front door, storm door, and picture window in the front of my house in Lombard replaced by Illinois Energy. I am very pleased with the work that was done. The workman was very careful to minimize dirt and dust left on the floor and even outside. He placed plastic on the floor and ground. After the job was done, he cleaned up the small amount of dirt and dust that accumulated. The doors and window are fantastic. I am surprised by how much better the view is out the window from the inside and how much better it looks from the outside. I had extensive work done in 2018 on the house I was living in at the time in Glendale Heights, including the exterior siding, all of the doors, and all of the windows. I was very happy with that work as well. I had some minor issues with the adjustments on the storm door and lock on the sliding patio door. They had a technician come out several times to fix the issues.

We had 5 windows installed from Illinois Energy and Windows. The 3 man crew arrived on time and finished quickly. They cleaned, caulked and placed water proof tape down before installing the windows, then caulked again to seal. Great job!

The install team did a great job at cleaning up after themselves and installed the windows during an awful storm in my area. They didn’t stop! The install team was amazing! My biggest complaint was the lack of transparency with the timeframe arrival for the windows. I originally ordered the windows on 5/20 and they didn’t get installed until 8/11. I understand the timeframe is an estimate but I would appreciate more frequent updates on future orders.

We had two doors and a screen door and a new window in our garage replaced. The installer was fantastic and was able to complete the job in one day and was very courteous and cleaned up and explained everything to me as he was doing each job. I would highly recommend Illinois Energy. The quality of their products and the install process is top-notch.

Our 25-year-old Pella patio sliding door recently failed when moisture intrusion caused the door to swell to the point that it could no longer close properly. The door had a 20-year warranty, so we understood that the warranty period had ended. However, we were disappointed to learn that replacement parts were no longer available for the door and that Pella did not offer us a customer discount that we felt was reasonable toward a replacement. We obtained a replacement quote from Pella, but the cost was substantially higher than what we ultimately paid for Illinois Energy to do the work. Illinois Energy was about half the price for a new patio sliding door. The new door was installed weeks early with excellent service and a lifetime warranty. We are very happy with our decision to go with Illinois Energy. The experience was professional, the price was approximately half of Pella's, and the lifetime warranty gives us much greater peace of mind going forward.

We engaged Illinois Energy Windows and Sidings for replacement windows at our 103 year old bungalow. We replaced old and failed vinyl windows and metal storms with heritage wooden windows as part of a historical preservation incentive program in Glen Ellyn. We could not be happier with the IL Energy team at every stage of the process. Tristan and Dom really cared about the new windows being historically accurate through the manufacturing process, including accurately matching existing windows we have. The installation day went very smoothly. The installation required on the ground problem solving which Dom and the team handled extremely well. Distressed and rotten window infrastructure needed to be replaced and the team replaced with historically accurate Douglas fir wood which follows the Illinois state historic renovation standards. The insulation around the window openings was non-existent and the team added high performance insulation material from which we have already experience

We are very pleased with Illinois Energy and the quality of their products and how smoothly our installation went. They helped us to redesign our Front Door, huge window above the door and sidelight. It was not an easy install, given we have a Raised Ranch. The Window above the Front Door was very heavy, cumbersome to replace. And the installation team did an outstanding job. We are very happy with the functionality and beautiful curb appeal added to our home! From start to finish we knew what to expect, good communications. They left our house spotless.

I worked with IEWS to get three windows replaced in my house in Glen Ellyn and had a great experience. Starting with the initial sales consultation, Garrett walked me through all of my options and highlighted what I should (and shouldn't) consider when replacing the windows. For the installation, the team was in and out in less than 3 hours. Incorrect handles were initially installed (miscommunication on the original SOW), but the team came back out the next week to replace and everything looks great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small, one-off window replacement, or a larger scale one.

Illinois Energy did a fantastic job with our front door, sidelights, and screen door. The installer was thorough and very skilled, and the door has an unmistakably solid feel to it. They will not be the lowest price if you are shopping around, but you do have to pay for quality, and that is what you will get with this company.

From the beginning to the end, Illinois Energy Windows & Siding is a fantastic vendor. I replaced my older, medium quality, vinyl windows with wooden windows. From the initial sales call to the post-installation follow-up, every employee I encountered was profession, personable and prompt with all the responses. The sales team let the product sell itself, explained the pros and cons of various options and configurations and gave me plenty of time to make a measured decision - no up-selling here. The installers arrived promptly, had great respect for the house by taking the time to cover the furniture and keeping the time when the window was removed to a minimum before the new window was installed. Post installation I was contacted to see if I was satisfied. The whole experience was what I expected from a local business with great quality and products and grows from recommendations from satisfied customers. I am a satisfied customer and this is my word-of-mouth endorsement.

We absolutely love our new front door, from the first call to the install, everyone was professional, friendly, and listened to our needs. Our original door layout included 2- 5 inch wall sections in between the door and sidelights which was challenging for other companies. Together we came up with this new amazing door idea. The installers came when scheduled and were extremely neat, took care of our home and explained everything they were doing. We were so impressed. They were meticulous at every turn. Illinois Energy did an in home sales consult with brochures and answered all of our questions. Delivery and install was as stated during our in home visit. It took a little over half a day to install. All existing trim was removed with care and replaced back to its original look. The installer cleaned up everything before leaving. Would recommend.

We scheduled with them to do our basement windows and had a really good experience the whole way through. We had not problem with setting up payments, picking our windows based on our needs, and ultimately the install. The men who cam to install were respectful of our space and cleaned up (better than it was when they came in to be honest :) ) before they left. They even added trim to a window that didn't have one. Will return with my next project.

Had a great experience with IEWS. Needed to replace our front door/transom. From the first visit providing samples through installation, the crews that i interacted with were solid and the end product is fantastic. No subbed-out contractors doing the installation so you can expect them to be reliable. When we need windows, we'll definitely go back to them.

I researched the Internet to find a company that would provide high quality at a fair price. I was familiar with the names like Pella and Anderson, but when I spent time comparing them all, Illinois Energy came out on top. I had never heard of them before but they have been a reliable, high quality provider of windows and doors for quite some time. Their ratings were high and I liked the quality, and the lifetime warranty, and the fact that they had their own installers. They came and installed 5 windows and 1 patio door in one day. They were a well-oiled machine. Several workers came and they were clean, efficient did great work. I was very impressed and plan on having them come back next year to install another six windows.
