"Stephen, if I am reading your review right we did a nice job performing the original scope of work. Later, the pump breaks and you asked for us to make the forty-minute, one-way drive to come inspect your system. Unless covered under warranty, which we are happy to do if and when we make mistakes, there is always an $85 service call. We cannot provide the level of service that we do, with knowledge, liability coverage, and overall professionalism, working for free. There are companies that do give free inspections and quotes, we visit their work quite often after they are "done." In regards to being told you might need a new pump, that was not something we ascertained at that time. Also, I believe that your "next day" remark might be off as the work was completed three weeks ago. We did notify you how old your pump was, which is how you knew the age of the pump. The pump ran fine in the 20-25 test runs we did (there were systematic issues throughout your system that once repaired, showed a new issue further down, which is why it was ran that many times). The pumps we replace in the field are, on average, five to ten years older than the pump at your residence. The pumps we replace that are the same age as your pump, fail normally due to surges in electricity. Seeing that your pump operated fine and was not in that age range, there was no reason to suggest another $800-1000 to your bill. Also, I repaired three pop-up heads, capped one, and replaced three nozzles at no cost to you in the original visit. Unfortunately I see no mention of this in your review, which is ironic as the price of those items is over the $85 amount in which you are unhappy with."
"Hello Stephen, Steve H with Image Maker. The initial contact repairs were completed on our first visit. You then contacted us saying that your valve would not shut off and after a thorough inspection, which included checking said valve multiple times, we determined that your issue was 100% timer (see: customer reprogrammed) related, and resolved that issue. We did not charge you for this service call. I have no doubt that you reprogrammed it again. Also, you have a current sewage backup in your backyard, there will be no repairs made while those current unpleasant and unsanitary conditions exist. Thank you and have a great day."
