I hired imperial homes in June 2018 to build a home in Cape Coral, Florida. By June 2019 very little progress was made. It took them one year to get to the tie beam. That work could have been done in one months time. Justin, the owner, is a horrible communicator. He asked me not to call him on his phone because he got too many calls every day. Wanted me to contact him by email only. That is ridiculous and unprofessional. When I did contact him by email all of his answers were disingenuous and laced candor. When the lumber package and roof trusses were delivered, they were not properly cared for and we are not covered to protect from the rains. Matter of fact, they took the trust packages of parts spread them over my yard and my neighbors yard where they sat on the dirt for 60 days in the rain. They were unusable. I fired them in July and hired a new contractor to build the house. The quality of what they did do seems poor. Over a dozen cracks in the slab that need to be ground out and epoxied. These guys are total amateurs. I would never recommend them to anybody. Imperial homes did not pay 2 subcontractors that did work on my property. One resulting in a lien against my property and the other contractor is still unpaid. I find imperial homes to be totally unprofessional.

They built a real nice house for the price.

They are excellent craftsmen, they have a good policy on building and allow you to make changes to suit your needs.
