Frank and Yurlin of Imperio Home Improvements are hands down one of the best contractors we have worked with in Whatcom County. Our original contractor couldn't finish the project so we hired Imperio who quoated us for residing the back side of our house, residing a gable on the side of our house, tiled a bathroom, and replaces outside trim around windows. They were dedicated to our projects, have AMAZING customer service, and were honest about the repairs and costs. The diagnosed a persistent bathroom shower leak and gave informative advice about how to solve the problem. Frank and Yurlin are an amazing team and we will 100% be hiring them again to finish our bathroom remodel and we have been recommending them to everyone we meet who has a need!

It was long overdue for our house to get some TLC. Frank and Yurlin got the house painted and redone the front porch stairs in a timely matter. Quality of work and attention to detail from them are excellent. We are extremely happy with the results, highly recommended.

Imperio Home Improvements was timely in replying to my first inquiry. Frank and Yurlin came to my house and discussed my wants, discussed options, and took measurements. They were quick to provide me with options for decking materials, complete with pictures, and estimated costs for each. When I told them my final decision they were again quick to provide a detailed written estimate. We signed a contract. Frank actually started a day earlier than estimated. Demolition of my old, rotten deck exposed some major unexpected issues. I was stressed but Frank just dealt with the surprises. Frank did not mind my continuous watching and taking pics. He continually made sure I was happy with the work. Sometimes he had a helper and sometimes he worked alone. Frank finished in the time he said he would, even with the unexpected issues. He showed up when he said he would. He did work some long hours though. Franks work was top notch and performed to code. He arrived with all the tools/equipment needed to do the job. Frank kept the work area clean. Every evening he completely put tools and equipment in my shed (he was going to put them in his truck but my shed had space and I offered it). Frank is a personable man who takes pride in his work. He is easy to talk to and easy to work with. There were no surprises (on my end) in dealing with Frank. I will hire Frank for other projects I have in mind in the future. It is such a pleasure to work with someone who demonstrates the ability, work ethic, and integrity that Frank does. We hired Imperio for a big project we have had on our to-do list since we bought our house: repairing the Hardiplank siding and trim, which had cracked and rotted in places, and repainting the entire house. We have worked with them in the past on a few smaller jobs, and Frank and his crew did such a great job with this project too. We could not be happier with the results. Frank was very helpful in letting us know the extent of the repairs ahead of time and he gave us very helpful advice throughout. He even helped us pick the best color for the trim, and we are really happy with it. As they were painting, they suggested replacing some of the outdoor light fixtures, which were in bad shape, and they installed them for free. The entire job was done much quicker than we expected, ahead of schedule. His crew was very thoughtful and conscientious: They cleaned up everything and left their work area in good shape. Working with Frank and his crew was a great experience--they are consummate professionals--and we have gotten so many compliments on the paint job! We will definitely hire them again.

Imperio Home Improvements is a fantastic construction company. If you are looking at any sort of minor/major home project you should absolutely talk to Frank and Yurlin. And yes "They can do it all" ! We recommend them 110%! We just had our kitchen completely remodeled, and it looks great! We were happy with the results, and it was a very smooth process......From the demo day (knocked out walls) to electrical (removed and installed new recessed lights), plumbing (installed new water line for the fridge), tile works (flooring and backsplash), appliance and cabinet installations, and while we were on halt and waiting for the countertop, they also installed new bathroom and ceiling fans, and more recessed lights. They were thorough throughout the job. We were particularly pleased with their flexibility and their ability to make last changes as needed. Any issues that came up were quickly resolved. They worked hard, and worked promtly that resulted being done ahead of schedule, They are very organized, and genuinely take pride in their work! And we are very pleased with the quality of work they did in our newly remodeled kitchen! We are so glad that we committed to hiring Frank and Yurlin. Frank and Yurlin were very professional, and meticulous. They came promptly the first time we met, and the very detailed bid was sent quickly. In comparison to some others we spoke with, their bid was clear, and outlined the work expected. I had several conversations prior to the work being started and their response was always within the day. They estimated the job to be completed in 3-4 days and actually finished in 2. They were very neat, cleaned up extremely well and cared for our house as you would hope someone would. They turned our newly bought townhouse that had several areas needing attention, into a beautiful home. I would highly recommend Imperio.

I had 3 contractors survey the site and give me estimates. 2 of the estimates didn't come back for almost a week and a half. The estimates were simply one line sent over the internet, the total job would be this much, with no breakdowns of materials or labor. Frank and Yurlin showed back up on my doorstep 3 days after their survey with a five page estimate in full color showing me estimates of all the materials and options, to be used including several choices of decking with photos, and labor costs for each option. They were very up front with everything and eager to start the job. We hired them and they kept in constant touch with us over the next few days letting us know when the materials were ordered and when they were scheduled to arrive. They started construction the day after the materials arrived. Construction went as expected, and Frank is a perfectionist. The deck turned out even better than I had expected. We were so impressed that we hired the company to install some 6ft gates into our back yard access, and rebuild our front porch stairs as well. We were pleased with those results as well, and rehired them to install a new attic access drop down ladder hatch, and possibly a bathroom re-counter and re-floor job. This is a great company to do business with and we couldn't be more pleased. They are honest, friendly, caring, and perfectionists about their work, and immaculate about their cleanup. I've worked with other contractors before, both good and bad, and these guys are great. If you hire them for a job you definitely won't be sorry.
