Impressive Landscapes was great about listening to what I wanted and what my goals were and delivering an excellent design that exceeded expectations. They were also very good about assisting with next steps to get my project to completion.

This firm is a design only firm. We needed a plan for our front yard. They did a wonderful job of preparing plans for our new look front yard. The plans included plant layouts with names of the plants recommended and the size of plant. Sun light is shaded by large pecan and oak trees in our front yard. They performed a shadow study to show which areas were shady and which areas had full sun.. Then they recommended plants that survive in shady areas. We wanted flowers for color. They recommended plants that can live in the shade. All of their drawings were prepared electronic using CADD software. We were impressed! We didn't know where to start. So Matt, the owner of this small company, led us through a series of talks about how to choose viable plants, where to plant them, and how much they could cost. Now we have a footprint to use even if we piece-meal the construction to stretch out the cost of installation.

Impressive Landscapes lived up to its name for an expansive patio install project we completed earlier this spring! Matt and Kelly were extremely communicative during the entire process, from our patio stone selection down to design elements and native plantings we wanted to attract pollinators. Our feedback was always taken into account and suggestions made to keep us on budget while realizing our dreams. Hurdles navigated expertly by the team included: COVID precautions, this winterâ s â snowpocalypse,â finicky owners (us) making multiple stone yard visits to pick the perfect pieces and post-install consultations on the plantings. When a challenge arose, Matt, Kelly and Mattias swung for the fences and connected, making for a truly wonderful outdoor space that weâ ve enjoyed immensely. The end result has been fantastic and touches on ILâ s capabilities for design and managing logisticsâ a large flagstone patio on a leveled surface with large single-stone slab stairs and boulders to create a natural border, all ringed with an irrigated, pollinator-friendly garden bed. After some time had passed, we even had a check up visit from Matt and Kelly to see how things were growing in and how to maintain the look and plantings moving forward. In all, if you are looking to design a truly Impressive Landscape for your home in the Austin area, look no further than these folks!

Matthew did not fix Landscaping problems he acknowledged, made token efforts to fix them, then ignored our texts and emails.

Matt, Kelly and their crew have done a truly impressive job on our .25-acre lot in South Austin. They exceeded our expectations on aesthetics, budget, and time to completion. They met our desire for a front-yard of winding paths and cottage garden that smoothly transitions to a "Greenbelt style," xeriscaped backyard. They also addressed the draining challenges of our flat lot. Five stars, no doubt!!!

Punctual, friendly and overall good experience

Matt has good design ideas and is open to incorporating my ideas. He has excellent interpersonal skills. He takes responsibility for any issues that arise and works diligently to overcome them. He's done friends yards and they all look amazing as does mine.
