Very pleased William (and his assistant) came out two hours after contacting HomeAdvisor. However, I was quoted over the phone one price (first hour and each additional hour), but when he showed up William quoted me a price for each light fixture ($85.00 each), and I agreed to his price even though it was considerably more than the $135.00 (first hour) plus $55.00 for the second hour. So, I wound up paying $65.00 more. But, I am happy with the work, if not the price I paid. I'm also pleased in that he came right out the very afternoon.

I had a minor electrical problem with a flood light and called In Phaze Electric to repair it. The technician they sent, Ozzie, was very professional, letting me know once he saw the light what the possible problems could be before getting started. Once he removed the old light, he determined it wasn’t the power from my home but the light itself was old and broken. He gave me suggestions as to the proper wiring of my home once he saw the interior of the light, stating it would be better for me to have copper wiring instead of the aluminum wiring I currently have, along with a ball park price with my square footage. Ozzie also went above and beyond explaining that if I did want to switch the wiring in the future, how much and long it would take as copper wiring is now what is required when selling homes now. After taking the time to speak with me about my project and other electrical suggestions, he gave me an estimate for my flood light and emailed to me right away to approve and schedule another appointment for him to come back and repair the light. I have never seen such professionalism and knowledge from an electrician as many are just out to make a quick buck, over charge the customer and do not know much about their job, but I am happy and pleased to say Ozzie was a delightful exception and I would recommend him and In Phaze Electric for any electrical issues I may need. Thank you Ozzie!

Quick and professional

The quality of the work didn't involve electrical wiring as much as it did just moving wires out of the way safely. He also needed to cut away some of the area surrounding the electrical outlet so that we could replace a small piece of drywall safely. The work was minimal. They made no attempt to clean up the mess, just swept some debris back into the opening like it was a trash can. That said, the main reason I gave them a low score is because the electrician and his assistant made unprompted remarks about 'how tiny' our house is. Further, they wanted to know if our open-concept living/kitchen/dining area was the only room in the house b/c it was 'so tiny' (it's 3 bedrooms). Seemed fixated on the size of the house. I was appalled and insulted. Completely unprofessional. Would never hire again. Felt uncomfortable in my own home.

The technician was very nice however, I purchased my fixtures or things that were needed so my bill was for the work done. For the amount of money there was no clean up done. I had to do it all myself and there was trash everywhere. Also there is holes still left in my ceiling where fixtures were moved and plates were installed on some and not others. Now I have to buy and get up on a ladder in vaulted ceilings to cover the holes.

In-Phaze provided a quick follow-up to my initial query and sent someone to prepare an estimate. They then contacted me while I was obtaining the required permit and finally scheduled a convenient time to do the work. I believe the company manager is very interested in his customers, he personally communicates with us and has a pleasant disposition. I would not hesitate to call these guys for another electric job.

The tech who came to the initial visit was told I believed it to be a breaker issue but he came with no breakers. Different tech came following day with correct part and got it running.
