IHI performed several door and window replacements, built outdoor staircases and enclosed a porch and completed water damage repairs. They also applied vinyl siding throughout the home and much more!!. Dave and his team were extremely professional, kind, and accommodating throughout each stage of the process. IHI completely transformed our deteriorating home and brought it back to life. Dave and his team are skilled professionals and worked tirelessly to meet and exceed our expectations. Dave is honest and trustworthy and knows exactly how he's going to perform a task before he even starts and already knows when it will be completed. He is extremely thorough and a great communicator. He provided constant updates and did not hassle us into buying anything or performing work that did not need to be done. We are extremely pleased and will continue to use IHI for future projects in the near future. Their prices are competitive, fair and very reasonable. We are really happy with our siding project. The house looks great and we get a lot of compliments about the color. Dave was great to work with during the sales process, very personable and professional. The team that that did the work for the most part was great. There were some hiccups here and there but nothing huge. I did appreciate that Dave always addressed them right away. Certainly would recommend IHI.

Dave and his team did a great job on our exterior remodel, which consisted of new vertical siding, stonework, new roof, and new garage doors. He is quite knowledgeable and very good at finding innovative ways to solve problems. Work quality was never in doubt and our place looks great!

Dave did a great job, we made changes on the fly and upgrades with no issues. This made cost go up but that was on me, no issue with it. End of day, great job. Dave had to come back a few times due to a few things noting major. I would hire again for sure..

We received quotes from four companies for vinyl siding and without a doubt felt most confident with Independence Home Improvement. Dave was straightforward and helpful throughout the process. The construction crew was polite and accommodating. Our house presents some tricky issues for siding and we are very happy with the finished product.

Dave from Independence came to the house, looked at the siding work I needed done. He provided me with a firm quote before he left. He explained the different materials and their prices and helped me find the best value for my application. His quote was the lowest of four. The crew was onsite within a week and the work completed professionally. The work is impeccable (no extraneous seams you see when contractors skimp on material) Now the once ugliest house on the street is now the most beautiful. I highly recommend!

I had obtained 5 complete estimates for the work. I wanted new roof, removal of old shakes and repair to interior of structure, new vinyl siding with trim and gutters. Two new slider doors and front railings and replace all outside lighting fixtures. Dave was the only company that gave me choices in product and cost and wasn't trying to sell me on anything--my choice. He came to my house and completely reviewed the entire process again after I chose his company to do the work. His hands on approach was very reassuring and that he values my opinion is key to his business success. From the time they started working until the last day, Dave was a presence on the job. His team is extremely professional. From Mr. Roger on down they are truly committed to great customer service. I love the work that was done and my house is now safe and beautiful. I am confident that if there should be any issues with the work in the future that Dave will stand behind his work and come out and fix it. I will definitely be using the team again when it comes time to replace the windows and build a new deck. Can't say enough good about the whole experience.

Our project included new roofing, new siding, replacement of windows and reconstruction of a deck. Wescheduled appointments with 7 contractors and in the process we definitely became knowledgeable in regard to the different aspects of the whole project. IHI was the only company that followed through with excellent communication. Starting with the office manager, Roger and especially with the company���s owner Dave, during the whole process we were involved in the important decisions based upon what was needed without any pressure to sell anything. By using effectively several teams for each part of the project, Dave was able to finish ahead of the schedule. He was very knowledgeable, honest, reliable, resourceful and pleasant to interact with and always responsive and available either through his cell or email. The outcomes of the project are outstanding ��� our home looks brand new and everything went according the original agreed contract. Due to his extremely professional performance and great personality, we already recommended Dave and IHI to several of our friends and neighbors. We had an outstanding experience and we are completely satisfied with the results.

The installers were very courteous, but they roofed over a bathroom fan vent (just left it on the roof) and I had a leak through a hole in another vent and had issues with the gutter/drip edge. For every problem that I had, they were prompt in coming out and correcting it. I hope that the roof is in good shape now and if it is the end product is fine. One thing you worry about when hiring a contractor is whether they will correct any problems. It would be nice to to not have problems, but it is of great comfort knowing that this company will correct the problems, at least initially.

The company should have initiated the inspection by the local building department and not the consumer.The inspection is part of the contract and should have been done before completion! Difficult to contact the company, no response to building dept calls. How will they respond if I have a problem? Poor follow--through makes the consumer question the validity of the warrenty.

This contractor was interested in what I needed, not what he could sell me. I made appointments with no less than 10 contractors in which time I became an educated consumer. IHI is interested in customers, not sales. I liked that the most about them.

Completed the job on time even though the weather was cold. Explained all options. Installed exactly what was agreed to. Returned after the work was done to make sure we were satisfied. Found everyone to be knowledgeable, helpful,frank, and honest. Very pleased with the results.

We found IHI to be very straightforward and honest about the work they would do, as well as letting us make important decisions about the project. They kept the integrity of our old home, while giving it a clean, updated, efficient look with new windows and siding. The beauty and style of our home were not compromised by an updated look, but rather enhanced. We felt that IHI really listened to what we had to say and they respected our concerns about doing a big project on an old home. In doing the project, they also discovered a few other small problems that they were able to help us with and repair before they did the job.
