John is wonderful to work with! Courteous and timely without exception, he does excellent work, listens to the customers and makes sure you're happy before he leaves. He came out because my garage door opener was on its last legs and I'd had someone else (a very popular company that charges an arm and a leg for very little work) come out and look, but John got the job and I'm so glad I hired him. He installed a new opener, made a recommendation that wasn't the most expensive, got the company to send it even though they're transitioning to only carrying the most expensive model, and installed it without a problem. He stayed in touch when the shipping side took longer than expected, and installed it as soon as it arrived. A rare professional!!!

Very efficient, friendly and professional; fast work; ordered door and installed in just a few days after initial contact. I am happy I had John and Ed install the door for me. They cleaned up after and my garage was cleaner than when they started. They hauled the old door away. They advised me on why mo old door would not work properly, explaining my need for a door kit for low clearance and gave me other helpful suggestions. I am pleased with the new garage door and opener installed by Independent. John came out and looked at the job before giving me a quote, and the end price was exactly what was quoted. I am a little leery of over the phone quotes as too many times I have been quoted a price and all of a sudden there are "unforseen extras" added on at the end. Nice door, very fast service, professional and courteous.

Independent Garage Doors was the first call I received after I checked out Home Advisors, then he came out the next day to inspect and give me an estimate on the repair of my garage door. He was prompt on arrival time, and had the necessary parts to make the repairs then and there. My door works great and is so quiet. I would highly recommend IGD,LLC.

We were very satisfied with the garage door opener installation. I ha d an opener replaced by Home Depot about 2 1/2 years ago that stopped working and was told that they didn't service or repair openers after they are installed. I decided that I should hire a company that would back their work. John not only explained everything but also put a reminder sticker to call back in a year for a service call.
