This contractor is going by this name now and was Indian river contracting He took our deposit money for porch and garbage enclosure and never did any work. He did illegal wiring in bathroom and plumbing. Please look on better business bureau he took other peoples money and now he is going under ocean bay carpentry with Indian river contracting ratings please protect people and show this

Brian is a master carpenter with great attention to detail. Thoughtful in his approach to our request and taking much pride in his craftsmanship. We plan on having Brian continue to work with us on further renovations to the property.

This contractor has caused us major issues. He signed on with our renovation mortgage process, but has since not shown up or responded to any of our needs. He dropped us and is ignoring our emails and calls. We had a deadline to meet code with our deck at the house. Very bad situation because of him.

Brian and his team were awesome to work with. They were very professional. Brian helped us with the design of our addition. They were very efficient and kept the property clean throughout the job. Would definitely recommend this contractor to anyone looking for home improvements.

The owner, Brian, is very technical and creative. He explains in detail how the project will be done - what has to be in county code, materials to be used, and the entire construction process- step by step. Brian has integrity. His work ethic about the quality of products he will use. We worked together on the design of the final project. The original project expanded into a 3 season room with sliding doors, a paver patio, and an outside shower with stepping stones walkway from a screened porch. The pricing is very fair.

They are a family business and work well together or solo. They are very professional, will take time to answer any questions you may have. We are bringing them back to do more upgrades on our home. We will truly recommend Indian River Contracting, LLC to anyone looking for a general contractor. They originate from PA as we do, so that was a big plus. They deserve a 5 rating. Quick response on both the estimate and the completion of the job. They helped me out of a tough situation. I would recommend these guys for your next home improvement project.

They originally quoted just repairing a crack in garage apron. When the work started we found out that there was more work that needed to be done in order to make the repair complete. Brian talked us thru the recommended repair, and he was then able to start right away. Did a great job at completing the entire project in a timely manor. We would recommend Indian River for great concrete work.

When we awarded the job we knew that the company had several jobs which they were already involved with. So we ask them to fit us in on which ever days they could. This is just what they did and the job was finished and the quality was great.

Tried to get them back to fix a couple things. First reply we ll come out next week . NO SHOW. E- mailed again. NO REPLY. Sad because we thought they were nice people with good work. Just don t try to get them back.

Brian and his crew do great work and are friendly, trustworthy and reliable. We've used Indian River Contracting for two separate projects and both were done exactly as promised for the agreed upon price. Their work is top quality but Brian stands behind his work and I'm confident that if there had been any issues, Brian would rectify them in a quick and painless manner. Do not trust Brian at IRC to start or continue his work as promised or on time. Do not trust him to get ahead of you in the money you pay him. I am 87 years old. I contacted Brian at Indian River Contracting (IRC) in March of 2016 to assist me in purchasing and installing an outdoor stair glide for my sick wife. I agreed to write a check for $3,198 that was needed to buy her stair glide. IRC agreed to forward my check to the indicated company. I was told to leave the (to whomever) part of the check blank because IRC was not yet sure to where it should be addressed. I did later learn that the check was filled in and immediately cashed, and then deposited personally under the IRC. My wife died shortly after in April 2016 and there was no longer a need for the stair glide. I informed IRC of this and got a variety of responses with regard to my request for the return of my $3,198. One of the things I was told was that there would be an additional 15% restocking fee that I would also have to pay separately. But I was not provided proof of this from IRC. The stair glide was never ordered and it never arrived. I found that my check was never tendered to the stair glide company. After further failure to respond, I then knew that I was getting the run-around and probably would never see my money again. I concluded that the best way to recoup the $3,195 would be to ask IRC to do some additional work here to make up for the un-returned money. I tried and tried to accomplish this with Brian. I was suffering grief from the loss of my beloved wife. Then IRC blamed the delays in doing the work on me. I then had to turn the matter over to my son, who quickly learned that I was not causing the problem. Definitely it was all that of the IRC. Brian stalled more and more. Then only after our subsequent threat of legal action and giving IRC a deadline date did Brian start working. He installed a screen storm door outside our small garage. But this start accounted for a little more than half of the $3,198. After promising to do subsequent work, Brian did not show and failed to further respond. Mediation ensued and Brian offered to pay a settlement last year but never did. Brian and IRC did good work for me in previous years. But something unusual must have changed in his reliability and honesty since then.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that Indian River Contracting is a company I would highly recommend. Brian and his daughter did a wonderful job on our large basement renovation with an added bathroom. Brian was very knowledgeable and made recommendations based on our needs. We would email or text Brian with questions or concerns we had throughout the renovation since we were in a different state. He would always be pleasant when responding and answered all our questions. Our basement came out better than I ever imagined even with Brian sending pictures of the progress along the way. The pictures were good but seeing the work in person was so much better!! We are extremely happy with the end results.

Brian came highly recommended and he did not disappoint! He and his crew renovated two bedrooms, a bathroom, painted and installed flooring throughout, upgraded lighting in the kitchen and replaced front and storm door in our beach townhouse. He did it quickly, professionally and cleaned up when it was all done! Brian was professional, knowledgeable, and priced very fairly. He always responded to texts and emails quickly, and even managed to fit in several "add-on" requests from us. Most importantly however, Brian is someone you can trust to work in your home even if you're not there!
