Write a ReviewJob well done
We had a leaning retaining wall by our walkout basement. We were very concerned that it might fall over and was no longer stable. I called Indiana Foundation Service and got a representative out the next week. He went over the issue and the solution thoroughly with me. We signed the contract and a month later we had some awesome workers come out to our house. Charles, Brandon, and Kyle worked 2 days to dig, brace, and make sure our wall was level/plum. I cannot recommend this company and this crew enough! We were completely satisfied with the outcome and the whole process. If you have any foundation or structural issues, do yourself a favor and call Indiana Foundation Service.
Am so pleased at how this project turned out and how well the structural crew worked. Devon J did such a great job (as did Woody and Gus). All were so patient with us, answering all our questions and explaining what they were doing. It was really fascinating watching the whole process and we are so please with the results, And so thankful they were able to fix the problem! Thanks much to the whole crew!

Had an $8k drain installed in our basement. Within a week it was failing and water was still penetrating their system. Was told by install team that it was due to concrete not being cured. Had drywall reinstalled out of pocket. Now 90 days later the system is continuing to fail. They do not want to cover the expense to replace drywall in order to correct the failed install. If a system has failed twice within 90 days, it is an issue with the install. The customer should not have to pay for them to fix their mistake.
Eric and Steve were both punctual and courteous. Their work was thorough and completed in a reasonable amount of time.
Solid professional advice and service.
BEWARE! I had Indiana Foundation come out to inspect my crawl. They told me that I had no drainage tile around the perimeter of my crawl, water in the blocks, very high humidity and that the tile coming into my EXISTING sump pit was dry and just ran to the middle of my crawl and the builder hoped the water would collect and run into the sump pit from there. He quoted tile work and a new triple sump pit for $12,500. He also quoted a dehumidifier and encapsulation for $15,000. I agreed to the tile work and new sump pit but asked if they would add the dehumidifier. I was told they would NOT add a dehumidifier without encapsulation. They scheduled the work, and the guys who showed up to do the work were great. On time, friendly, and got right to work. After about an hour they knocked on the door and said they dug down a long section along the inside of the wall and that I DID have tile, it was installed correctly, and working. They suggested going ahead and putting in a new pit and connecting the old tile to it and that they would remove the cost of the tile. Another knock at the door and they told me they were supposed to ask if I wanted to add a dehumidifier. I told them I did not want to do the encapsulation so no. They said I did not have to do the encapsulation. They would add it without it??? I told them what their inspector said, they called their boss and said he said it was okay. We had a new wood floor put in our house and humidity was a concern, so I said go ahead. After the fact I began to feel like I was maybe sold a bill of goods. Like they were looking for any way to get the price of the job back up. I had tile, and I had a working sump pit but was told it was all defunct. I think now after talking to some other companies that maybe I did not need any of it at all (except the dehumidifier). I also thought it was also suspicious that I did not receive a call after the job was finished or even a request for a review. Get a second opinion from this company.
