Dishonest about the services being provided and the cost of those services. Condescending and awful to work with.
To preface, this is the first negative review Iâ ve ever written, but I want to warn others about this company. We had a terrible experience with them, and I wouldnâ t recommend them to anyone. The owner seems knowledgeable and helpful at first, when trying to earn your business, but he was ultimately extremely disrespectful, dishonest, and difficult to work with. He gouged us and demanded unnecessary procedures without any transparency before the services were provided or billed. Any estimates that were provided beforehand were completely blown through without any heads up before the bill was mailed. It feels as if this guy just assumes he is working with an unlimited budget and can do and charge whatever he wants. The communication is abysmal, both towards the customer and apparently within the company, as one of their technicians openly complained about the inaccurate information being provided to another technician about our pool, mentioning the scheduler by name. We hired this company to provide their daily brushing service for our newly redone pool and to install a light while the pool was drained. We had a hunch that not all of the items we were paying for were being performed daily as promised, and so we contacted the owner to ask. He assured us of what was being daily, but we now have photographic evidence that the technicians were not performing the duties that we were charged for, yet the final invoice came in well ABOVE the estimated range we were provided before starting the service. The light was installed but apparently not checked before the water went in. We didnâ t see the technician until after the water was put in, and when we asked him how to turn the light on, he said he had no idea. He found the switch, and the light wasnâ t working properly, so he messed around with it and got it to work. Imagine our surprise when we received a bill for his troubleshooting, since one would imagine that the $1500 installation bill would include verification that the light properly worked. To be clear, we contacted the company (no response) and then the owner directly to ask about the billed tasks that werenâ t being performed and to request an explanation for surprise invoices for things that were scheduled for us without anyone ever noting that they were not included in the services we already agreed on. His response was uninformed, condescending, rude, and extremely defensive. A good businessman would have seen the breakdown of his teamâ s performance and communication and addressed it, but he refused to acknowledge that there was unclear communication even when presented with screenshots, and he doubled down and even approved final invoices well above the quoted amounts (even when he knew his team didnâ t do their job- this is so unacceptable!!). I have screenshots to back up all of my claims for a BBB complaint. We ultimately received 5 invoices from them (they came in batches in two separate mailings), and each one was for higher than we were told it would be beforehand. Itâ s clear that they are either incompetent and unable to provide accurate estimates, or they just take advantage of their customers and consistently up-charge because they bank on people not complaining and just paying the invoices so they go away. Unless you have an unlimited budget and donâ t mind being condescended to, steer clear of this mess of a company.

Sue and Brian were amazing to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, great communication, work performed efficiently, and as promised at a very reasonable price. At first I was dreading the process of interviewing pool contractors, but after speaking with Sue and Brian I hired them on the spot. I was extremely pleased, they exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend Lew Wolfe. Oh and I can't forget Juan, the mason. Tile work looks fantastic. Thank you so much Sue and Brian!!!
