��� We hired Jeff and his corporation - Innovative Flooring to fix our floors that had been damaged by a prior contractor. He committed that the floors would be fixed and look like new when he was completed. Sadly, the team did not take due care in preparing our floors, sanding, applying stain, and applying polyurethane. After 3 days of sanding and 2 days of polyurethane, I have floors that not only don't match the original floor color but also are not only not smooth, but also retain original color on the edge of each board such that each board has light stain in the middle, and dark stain around the edges. In addition there are large areas - primarily in the kitchen where the original color was not completely removed. Finally there are black splotches in many areas of the floor. These are all in locations where hand sanding was performed. ��� When we contacted Jeff directly he made an appointment to come to our house and discuss the situation, yet through repeated calls and emails he never arrived and instead had one of his workers contact us. When Pete returned to re-inspect the floor, he claimed he had done an excellent job and the floors were fine. He insisted that the black splotches were something that was in the wood and not caused by his team. When we contacted a flooring inspector, the inspector confirmed that this is not something that is in the wood, but rather something that was dripped onto the floor by their team. ��� They may be able to install carpet or new floors, but they are significantly underqualified when trying to refinish floors, I would not hire them again.
