Insulation Co. LLC has been Western Washington’s trusted attic and crawl space specialist since 2008. Based in Seattle, we provide far more than insulation—we offer complete attic and crawl space restoration. Our services include insulation removal and replacement, full cleanouts, mold remediation, duct insulation and sealing, rodent exclusion and proofing, vapor barrier installation, crawl space door upgrades, and comprehensive air sealing. I recently hired Insulation Co. for a complete attic insulation redo, and they did a fantastic job. Jo, the owner, was quick and responsive, answering all my questions upfront. The crew?led by Raphael?was fantastic. They were quick, neat, and thorough. They efficiently removed my old 1992 insulation, air-sealed the space, and installed new cellulose. I highly recommend them.

I recently hired Jo for an attic restoration before selling my home, and I was extremely impressed with his service. My inspection report noted areas needing remediation, and Jo was able to schedule the work quickly and complete everything in just one day so I could list my home the following week.
Jo and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and did excellent work. The attic looked brand new when they finished, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Jo was able to assess what my home needed just from Redfin photos and clearly explained every step and option throughout the process.
He also handled a local PUD rebate application for me, which is already saving me money. Communication was outstanding—he always responded quickly and thoroughly to my questions.
I highly recommend Jo and his team for attic restoration and insulation work.

On the day of, Jo's crew were quick and efficient and provided Before and After photos. They removed my old vapor barrier and insulation and replaced with new one, added new dryer vent duct and flapper, and added new roof vents for all my bathroom fans, and much more. I was able to ask them questions during and provided water and snacks to them for their hard work. The crew respected my home and cleaned up after themselves before leaving.
After the work was completed, I thanked Jo for making this all possible and being easy to work with. We went over some of the After pictures together over the phone to help me learn about everything and ask additional questions. They even sent a crewmember to come back for a 2-week follow-up on the work to make sure everything still looks good. I would recommend Jo and the team at Insulation Co to my friends and family for attic and crawlspace cleanout services again.

Workers arrived on time and got right to work, cleared out all the old insulation and vapor barrier in the crawl space. Identified where the rodents were coming in and sealed off that entrance with wire mesh. Finished in just a few hours and cleaned up. My crawl space looks great! 5 star job!

Jo and his crew cleaned out the old insulation in the attic of a home we purchased that had mold, evidence of rodents, and lacked ventilation. They took care of the mold, got rid of the nasty insulation and put in cellulose insulation (deeper than required), added ventilation, and brought everything up to code in one day. Most importantly, Jo spent time explaining to me what they would do before they did it, and then after the work was completed, explaining the photos they sent me of what they had done. I highly recommend them.

I hired Insulation Co to work on the attic of my rental property less than 2 months ago. Unfortunately, once new tenants moved in and began using the space, we discovered that the bedroom outlets were no longer functioning. When I contacted the owner to ask if a wire might have been accidentally disconnected during the attic work, he refused to come by to inspect the situation. He argued that I should have reported the issue within two weeks, despite the fact that the unit was vacant and only recently occupied. Rather than offering to troubleshoot or verify their work, the owner was argumentative and dismissed the concern entirely. I am disappointed in the lack of accountability and professional courtesy, and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a contractor who stands behind their labor.

"We?re sorry to hear about your experience and would like to clarify a few important details. Our company did not perform any attic work at this property, our scope was limited to the crawl space. The work was completed approximately two months ago, and our contract states that any damages must be reported within two weeks of completion. Since this was reported well after that timeframe and because this involves an electrical outlet rather than insulation, a licensed electrician is required to properly diagnose the issue and determine the source. When you contacted us, we attempted to discuss the situation by phone; however, the customer hung up before we could fully review the concern. We followed up in writing and confirmed that if our work is found to be the cause, we will cover the cost of repairs. We stand behind our work and remain open to reviewing any findings from a licensed electrician so this can be resolved appropriately."

We were very pleased with the job they did insulating our crawl space. There were three men who were very polite and thorough explaining what they did. They completed the job much quicker than I thought it would take. There was an excellent PSE rebate that significantly reduced our out-of-pocket costs. The final cost was quite a bit lower than other estimates we received.

From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. A crew of three showed up right on time, were extremely professional, and worked incredibly hard despite the challenging conditions of water and heavy mud. You could tell they took pride in doing the job right.

I needed to replace the insulation in the crawl space under the house, I called a few companies that handled this kind of work and got great service right from the start when I called Jo at Insulation Co. LLC. He was very friendly, informative and walked me through the whole procedure. Since I have natural gas but, wasn't aware of the rebate CNGC offers Jo fully explained it to me then happily completed the application for me which made the whole process a piece of cake. His crew did a fantastic job of replacing the insulation and completed the clean up. He even built me a door for the entrance to the crawl space to help keep the varmites out. In a heartbeat I would recommend Jo Estrada and his company. They were very professional and were done in no time at all.
