Our tech quit and could not reach him after 1 yr. One room sensor never worked so we canceled. They owner called and said we needed to pay $1200 for the equipment.

Jeff with Integral Homes came out and gave a straightforward bid on a wired camera system install. He gave me the flexibility to purchase my own system, and even set it up and walked me through it not having used that brand of cameras before. Great work!

Integral Home Services (IHS) installed our solar shades, home security system as well as our home AV system. They did exceptional work at a reasonable price and were always available when needed. As an added bonus they are really nice guys!

I see all the other reviews are for hanging a TV and/or surround systems. I hired "Rusty" for an entire home automation project on a substantial remodel. Lights, Cameras, Drapes, Multiple Sound Zones, Locks, the whole works. The total job cost with Rusty was in excess of $40,000, all of which is paid. Rusty first seems like a nice enough guy and is the typical IT geek talks fast using tons of acronyms trying to make himself sound smarter and to make asking questions difficult. He managed to get the wiring done and most of the systems installed so that they substantially function, though some pretty crudely. This should not be the case with the dollars this project cost. Biggest issues with Rusty is his lack of follow through, he does not show up when promised, failure to support the system during the "warranty period" and providing only cryptic documentation. Coming from an IT background I am very familiar with Rusty types' disdain in documenting anything. The documentation provided is skeletal at best and is mostly, "see the manufacturers product catalogs". Entirely hopeless in providing any direction in addressing system issues, which frequently arise. He does not return calls and often fails to show up to scheduled appointments, providing no advance notice that he will not be there. As mentioned earlier, part of the system is the lighting, which uses a Lutron readiora switching. Part of the service Lutron provides is a custom engraving of the buttons for the switches, at no additional cost. It is now September 2018 and Rusty had the engraving report for these buttons in December 2017. Yet there still are paper notes taped next to each switch, no engraved buttons, and Rusty does not answer his phone or return texts or emails. Maybe he can handle hanging a tv or two but should be avoided for any substantial projects.

"George, I can appreciate a tough review but this one is misleading to say the least. We did do a whole home automation system, Audio, Video, Cameras and Security. Your wife bought the locks and I helped her set those up free of charge and we never did automated window coverings even though your wife said that I was significantly less expensive then the other bids and she was planning on using me once you guys were more settled in, We wired your place and installed a combination of new and "owner furnished" equipment. The Sonos audio system worked to perfection in all of the rooms except for sometimes there was an issue with the amps you provided not coming on automatically when the Sonos system was turned on. The amps you provided were 10+ years old and I explained to you that I could not guarantee the functionality of all of your "owner provided" outdated electronics. We also had issues with your master bedroom surround sound zone which consisted of an old surround sound receiver with no display or original remote, a TV with a big crack in it, a sub woofer with broken connectors, an old Comcast box that needed to be replaced but you refused to do so for some reason. I came out multiple times to troubleshoot the master bedroom system and suggested to your wife that you swap out the receiver for a new one but you refused to. The living room surround sound zone which consisted of new equipment worked flawlessly. I stopped returning your calls after you threatened me over one of your many late night emails but I continued to work with your wife and completed any and all warranty items until the end of the 1 year warranty. The issue with the engravings is just as misleading as the rest of this review. I pushed to get you to decide on the button nomenclature as soon as the keypads were installed. You wanted to wait until you had time to live in the house for awhile. You finally decided on your final keypad engravings, right after your last late night, expletive filled email regarding your master bed TV not coming on. This is when I started working solely with your wife, ordered the engravings and came out as soon as they came in. I learned a lot on this project, especially checking the home owners equipment before I agree to install it, because It just might come out of a large, water stained box that looks like it was delivered by Ace Ventura."

Rusty was wonderful. Prompt (early even) and was able to use the current 'mount' so that I could return the heavier one I had purchased ( $100+ savings) and within a short time had completely solved my mounting problem. I would hire him again whenever I need something electrical done.

Home theater equipment is not cheap. However, Rusty was able to use some of my older components then order the new ones I needed. He is very dependable, and did great work. I would absolutely call him again!
