"Customer lived out of state and we provided photos of completed work and homeowner confirmed job looked good with renter / tenant that lived at the home / job site. Customer was very positive in text and email and very pleased in previous comments to us. 2 months later we were contacted about a wood pallet someone left on site, however was not ours (and not in the "after" completed job photos we sent her), not sure who's but homeowner had a recent roof replaced. However I agreed to remove as a courtesy, but would be a few weeks and she agreed and thanked us for the courtesy. When I went to remove the pallet less than 2 weeks, it was gone, and then I received this negative review. Customer refused to return my calls or text to discuss review and when I asked Home Advisor to assist I was told the customer yelled at agent and said she had requested she be put on "do not call list" from Home Advisor and she hung up on the agent (according to what the HA agent told me). As for PayPal, I did agree to accept as long as customer picked up any fees. I have only bought items with PayPal and never received money so I was not aware of fees. Due to large transaction & size of job, we were charged over $300 in fees and customer refused to cover or even spit. I requested to send money back to PayPal and have customer mail a check, to avoid fees...Paypal said no issue, however customer refused claiming to much trouble to deal with. I was never angry, but frustrated, but conversation ended fine with client and she requested us to estimate more work on other property(s). So again I was quite surprised by the review."
