Jason was Awesome. There is only 1 bad review on this site at the time of this comment. That is the agent of the property that Jason saved us from purchasing. We are very great full to Jason for his professionalism and his thoroughness in his job. He was very clear with everything he did. He was very clear when he told me that he was not there to tell me whether I should buy or not. He was there to show me the truth about the property. I made the decision that the property was not what we wanted. The agent is blaming Jason for being honest about this property, because he was representing the seller and in truth his own pay day this agent obviously canâ t handle the out come. I have no bitterness to anyone involved, but I will not stand buy while this agent try's to misrepresent a inspector that did the job I paid him to do. Thank Jason for the wonderful job you did and to the sellers agent, get over it.

Although the guy was friendly he had the attitude that he wanted a quick in and out and wasnt willing to do what i would consider a full inspection, he was already there and had began the inspection so i had no idea what he had actually done except for the pictures of parts of the house that he had showing water damage and other small things, but for me not knowing how inspections really work i had to take his word as a professional that he was doing the inspection properly and fully to the best of his knowledge, but the worst part was the amount of money for the inspection, of which once it was all said and done it wasnt nothing that a average joe coudnt do with a bit of common sense, so once it was over a couple of the main things that i was really worried about being checked out to know the condition of, was underneath the property to make sure wiring wasnt loose and the pipes and air ducts were still intact did not get checked out because he claimed since there was no opening for a entry way crawl space that he couldnt get underneath the property to make sure those things were in good working order, the same goes for the water heater, it was behind a panel that looked to be painted over and had screws holding to the wall, and he claimed he couldnt open it up to check the water heater for fear he could get sued by the property owner, which was BS in my opinion since the property owner had known for weeks that an inspection was going to take place and that meant panels would be opened as well as everything else would be examined, so as i said he was a nice guy but for what i payed him i should have gotten a class A inspection and all i ended up with was a quick walk through and some pictures taken , all of which as i already said anyone with a brain and common sense could have done and that includes myself.

He was on time very thorough and was able to answer tough questions throughout the process. I would recommend him to anyone.

I choose Intensive Inspections based on reviews and short interview on phone .Jason was very professional in all aspects..I scheduled out a few weeks so time was not an issue ..He showed great communication and knowledge throughout the process..Highly recommend and will use again if needed..

What a great person to work with! Jason knows his business well and explained every step of his process and findings as well as provided several options to resolve issues, minor and more extensive, that were not only effective solutions, but economical solutions as well. This was the second time we hired Jason to inspect our home. His price was fair and competitive, but it was the quality of his work that brought us back to him! He is thorough and not in a big hurry to get his job done.

Jason of Intensive Inspections was awesome! I highly recommend him for home inspections. First, he allowed me to setup the appointment within a very short window (within 2 days of calling him). He was also flexible enough to have a late day appointment. I told him I had to work until 4pm and I wouldn’t make to the appointment until 5pm. He told me no problem, he would get to the home around 3pm and meet with my realtor (as she wanted to be there too), and then he would update me when I got there. When I got there, not only he update me, he basically went through the whole inspection with me again, walking me around, showing me everything I needed to know. I asked for radon test to be done, he told me he was having battery issues with his tester, so he gave me a test kit for free of charge (with detailed instructions on how to use it, where to place it, and how to get the results back). I felt he was upfront, honest, and very knowledgeable when answering questions about the inspection and going through the inspection process. He was very technical when I needed details, and but was able to put things in layman terms when I needed a brief understanding. The report was easy to understand, user friendly, and organized for a quick read. As a side note, my realtor offered up a few inspectors that she used in the past/frequently, I considered two of them but neither returned my call before I contacted Jason (who answered right away). So I thought it was great when she pulled me to the side after the inspection and told me that she was really pleasantly surprised with Jason, and glad I made a great choice (as she proceeded to take his contact information with her)!

Not only good at what he does and full of helpful tips but keeps your bottom line in mind. He reccomended buying a radon test for about $13 at Lowes instead of the $100ish (cannot remember what it was exactly) he would charge. Most inspectors charge $90+ for radon tests. I recommend walking along for an inspection anyway, but especially with him, he tells you information as he goes which I found very useful.

Extremely thorough. This was an owner inspection and Jason spent 3 hours with me explaining everything, and he answered multiple questions in the days after the inspection.

I recently purchased a house in Shelby county. I have used Jason 3 times for inspections. With his help I finally found the house I wanted. He is very professional & knowledgeable. Very through in his inspections. His inspections usually take 3 to 4 hours. He covers everything. He gets up on the roof & up in the attic. If your house has a crawl space he even gets under the house and inspects it also. I was very impressed with his work. What I like about him the most is that he is honest & goes the extra mile to make his customers happy. He treats his customers like they are his own family. If you are a first time home buyer or looking to buy another house this is the guy you need to do your inspections. He is the best!

We chose Intensive Inspections after Home Advisor recommended them for our home inspection. Jason answered all of my questions (I had a lot) with very detailed easy to understand answers. He made me feel comfortable to ask and took the time to listen to my concerns. He did a very thorough inspection and had it written up and sent to us within the same day! We would highly recommend him to any new homebuyers. We were very pleased with his work!

Outstanding! You will not be disappointed! I can say with all honesty, out of all the companies I have dealt with on my home, Intensive Inspections set the standard. I called them after working with multiple different companies on my home. I was continually getting information and playing constant phone-tag when trying to get the information I needed. Having just left active duty military and now working a new job in a major business corporation, I am extremely busy and have very little time. I got tired of the games and called out a private inspection company instead of fighting with the other companies. After a little research, I found myself calling Intensive Inspections for an over the phone quote. Immediately, I received honest, realistic answers, respectful service, thought-out advice, and up front disclosures about their service. Not once did they try and sell me a service that they were not licensed or advertised to assist with, like the other companies I previously contacted. I spoke with Jason and ended up making an appointment with him to inspect my home during that call. From the very beginning, I told him special instructions on what I wanted and how soon I needed it. During the day of my inspection, he more than excelled past the expectations. He arrived at my home before our set time, and not 15 minutes late like the other home service companies. With my copy of the contracting agreement, he put together a binder with a quick home reference guide about home structure and maintenance information not commonly found without hours of research. The inspection went better than I expected or anticipated. He inspected my home within a reasonable time. They did not rush or skip over items or sections of the home like all the others. He gave legitimate, realistic advice and answered my questions, without referencing any biased or made up prices or sources. Once the inspection was over, they offered some time for me to ask final questions and gather information on some of the findings. I have yet to find a more involved and honest company during this extremely busy and life changing time.
