Lester installed a fence in our backyard, work was excellent , workers were very polite and the install and completion done in a timely manner, Lester and the crew have done rock and paver work as well, you would not go wrong hiring these guys.

Lester and his team do incredible work! I can't speak highly enough about his customer services and focus on customer satisfaction. He delivers high quality finishes and makes sure the end product looks great. His work on our outdoor kitchen met all of our expectation. His prices are very fair and consistent. I hired this company for Rock landscape and a brick patio. Both jobs were done very effective and in a timely manner. They came out very beautiful and I would hire them again. Also my neighbor had them do a refresh around her rocks at her house she said they did an awesome job too thank you

Lester and his crew removed some old concrete steps and a patio and crafted new ones out of natural stone. I found Lester to be a person of integrity and very prompt in communicating. His pricing is transparent and very competitive. They were able to start the project sooner than expected and are very hard workers. They did such beautiful work that I am having them back to update more in the yard. Thanks Lester!

Lester and his crew removed and old flagstone driveway and replaced it with a concrete driveway. The new driveway is perfect! It was constructed to withstand hard use, it drains without a single puddle, and it looks great. The crew also replaced an old flagstone walkway with new, tightly fitted limestone. The new walkway is also beautiful and will last forever.

Lester the owner was on top of the project, he checked in with me on a daily basis and went over the project step by step until completion. I was very satisfied with the quality of work. I had a lot of issues with my back yard with water standing and it was difficult to use the back yard and cut the grass without causing damage. He recommended building French trenches which resolved the issues. The work was done timely and less costly than other companies. I highly recommend him and his team. I gave him 10/10.

they started work before they said and finished the job a month earlier than stated. It was a huge project in my eyes. It all looks beautiful. The stone walkway and stairs through the garden is fantastic. They finished the project about a month early despite weather issues. His crew works fast and hard. Several neighbors seeing the work and the speed it was accomplished in, hired him also.

In The Rough Stonework & Landscaping built us a beautiful greenhouse foundation that has knee-high stone walls and a cement floor. The floor has slight slope with weep holes on the low end, perfect for keeping the floor dry. They also put in a patio that wraps around the greenhouse and made it with a mix of different bricks/stones. Our greenhouse/patio is now a perfect place for gardening and lounging. On another project they made us a flag-stone patio with a stone stairway through the garden allowing easy access to our yard. In The Rough Landscaping does quality work with an eye for detail and they do it at a great price, I would highly recommend Lester Avalos and his crew.

Lester and his crew were great to work with and the projects turned better than I could even had imagined. Every step of the way, Lester came up with wonderful ideas, used existing material we already had, whenever possible. Our project was a whole yard spring cleanup and mulch. However, given their expertise in masonry, we ended up also adding some masonry work. Very skilled, professional and extremely productive crew. We plan to do more work with Rough Stonework in the future, and highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Lester and his team did an excellent job per my plans for a regrade and retaining wall for our travel trailer pad. Quality work on the foundation of the wall and the stonework. Two of the team worked in the dark to complete the final touches.

We had a different landscaping company come out and install "flagstone" over our existing limestone path. Not only did they do a horrible job, they also destroyed our drain tile which I had flagged for them and left large ruts in our yard. It took them 6 weeks to come back and "fix" the path and "repair" the drain tile. The path looked even worse than it did before the "fix", I had to run the skid steer because the two guys they sent out did not know how to operate one, and they had to use drain tile I had on site because they didn't bring any. To top it off, when they replaced the drain tile, they didn't use a union on one end, and just set the pipe up next to the old pipe, and for some reason they took the sock off as if they did not understand what it was for! It was a complete nightmare. Enter Lester and his crew. They came out, and even though the stones were not the right material for a flagstone path, they were able to take them all out and reuse them to create a beautiful path. Choosing the right company is so important for any project, and I can confidently say that "In The Rough Stonework & Landscaping" is the right place to hire for any of your stone work or landscaping needs! We will be using them again in the future!

Our patio had settled and buckled over time. Lester and his crew did a great job pulling off the pavers and repairing our patio. They are very hard working and skilled and it was important to them that we were happy with the job they did. We would hire them again.

At first this went well. Then we had an issue with a large diesel fuel spill on our driveway during construction but we were able to resolve it. But thats when this turned bad. We were promised a return this year to add more rock as it obviously settled. Then this year we noticed that our drain that was through our cement sidewalk was never rehooked back up so our gutter/drain backs up and drains THROUGH the wall bricks. We have tried multiple times to call Lester but we have never heard back.

there were a couple of unexpected issues which Lester and his crew addressed quickly and thoroughly. The project was finished in a timely manner and looks great.

Lester was one of the few Stonework Contractors to actually call us back, when needing the quote for the wall. He came over right away and met with myself and my wife. He was professional from the beginning, and very accommodating and flexible in designing the retaining wall. His work is excellent, and he explained every detail as we went through the project. Any additions or deviations were reviewed, and he was in constant communication. Due to some weather issues and modifications needed to support the wall, the project took longer than anticipated, but the end result was more than we could have hoped for. We are very pleased we selected In The Rough for our project!
