Chain Link Fence Repair or Alter
I hired Adam to do some work and I gave him a deposit of $750 back in November 2019, was suppose the come back the following week did not show, he scheduled 3 appointments and was still a no show and now I can not reach him

BEWARE!!!!!! They showed up twice. First time I received an estimate and got several calls from them asking if I had decided. Second time to collect my deposit. When they came to do the job, they tried to replace my screening without replacing the frames which was on my contracts. They left until so they could ordered my frames for my windows. Adam Charles kept saying they were backed ordered. Finally, said they would do the job on Dec 23, 2019 according to a text. Never showed and have had no contact with them since, phone number is discontinued and they have $317.00 deposit. Do not use a business that doesn't post their address.

Save your time, your money, a lot of aggravation, and the battery on your cellphone! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE! The owner (Adam Charles) took a half up-front deposit on Oct. 3, 2019 and cashed the check on Oct. 5th. He then scheduled the job and then cancelled the appointment - 3 times! On Nov. 11, 2019 I told him to return my deposit. More excuses. It is now 12/29/19 and still no returned deposit. Sad part is that I had 15 neighbors who wanted the same thing done at their houses and I had set that up for him. He had an easy and lucrative gig here and he blew it and made me look bad for recommending him! Always an excuse with this guy --doctor's appointment ran late, he had a wrong phone number, truck ran over something and got a flat and had no spare...), usually very polite but never showed up! All I want is my $205 deposit back. Will have to probably take him to small claims court now. NO WAY will I let him get away with this!

He appeared to be a very decent handyman when he came out here. He gave me a good price on a screened in porch and said he could start as soon as he got the screen. I gave him the $900 deposit he required . It's been two months and I am still waiting. I do not want to have to go to court, but I want this job done or my money returned.

At first the project started out on schedule and with good follow up from contractor. After the deposit was given, the communication with contractor started to decline. Upon deciding to cancel project, contractor did not return amount of deposit as agreed. Would not recommend.

"Gave a deposit and had me order color correct brick faux panel we both were in contact for the whole deal with the manufacturer as well representative had the manufacturer shut down production line for me to make a one time color correct brick faux panel so the special order would be identical to the brick on the facade on the house this whole process took 45 days from start to finish in which we all were In Contact with each other myself Mr Blevins and the supplier and last minute mr Blevins decided I did not communicate enough and want to cancell the project the special order is in refundable and am currently working towards resolution with."

"I am terribly sorry because we didn't have a chance to use the roof be clean the product you recommended to use required a time line that would not allow us to install and applicate because of rain or fowl weather. I will follow the guidelines set forth by home advisor and absolve us of our contract and even tho my paper work clearly states refunds on specialty orders are non refundable I will oblige and have started the return process with both the company where the cleaning product you requested I use where purchased and you as the client and will be in touch again when the credit is process back into my account . Once again I apologize"

Very professional, they replaced my screens & hung my plantation blinds within 2 hours. I hired them to fix my irrigation system and put sod in my backyard. I highly recommend this company for whatever home improvements you need. The owner Adam is very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to deal with. His prices are very reasonable for the work he does.

We recently purchased a 3rd floor condo and needed the dryer vent cleaned. I spoke with Adam who gave me a quote over the phone and was at our place in less than 2 hours to do the work. And although the work was quite a bit more involved than originally expected he still honored his original price. A very professional company which I will definitely use for any future projects - I would highly recommend them!

Took our money with a signed contract on June 28, 2019. Has yet to refund for the job. Excuse after excuse! Prepare to go to court if you want your money back for a job never completed! Criminals! Update received refund. if I agreed to remove this review...

My gutter/shingles were perfectly repaired;tons of pinestraw,from Hurricane Dorian, were removed from my very steep roof;and the walls were tested for % of moisture for which a dehumidifyer will be brought to dry them out...all in an efficient & timely fashion! This is the most professional work I've had in 10 years here!

I placed a request and they were the first to respond; they agreed to come the same day. They were very pleasant, did the work quickly and thoroughly. It was suggested that I get a small item to make the outside dryer vent safer from water and varmints. I d hire them again.

I want this review to keep other people from having the same issues with Adam Charles that my wife and I have had. We signed a contract with him on July 7,2019. We paid him over $8,000 and he was to start the work in August. We had a leak and when he came the end of August we asked him to address this first. We asked for some additional work and paid him over $4,000. He did a very small portion of the work and I mean a very small portion. He never returned to finish the project. There was one excuse after another. He told us he was hospitalized twice for health issues. I called the hospital in September when he was supposed to be a patient, but they had no patient by his name. We have called many times and set up appointments to just sit down and discuss his ability to finish the project. He would promise to come and again there were always excuses why he would not come at the last minute. Please, please do not use this individual for ANYTHING you need done. I checked with the Contractor Licensing Labor Board Tuesday, and he has NO license in SC to do any type of work. We had our last conversation on Friday, October 18, 2019 and tried to set up another appointment to talk and again he never showed up! He is not trustworthy and everyone needs to know it. Do not let he take advantage of you like he did us!

Adams Charles did a first rate job for me. My microwave installation project was a difficult one because whoever installed the old one had done some special things that make the old one very difficult to remove. Mr. Charles fought through that challenge for a solid forty-five minutes and finally got the old oven removed. Then he did a fine job installing the new one. He was polite and professional through the entire installation process.
