Iron City Construction, LLC

The owner of Iron City Construction has not paid his contractors for the new roof on our house. We have paid John Balough for the roof in full . A lien has been placed on our property by his contractor(G an N Roofing Solutions). Iron City was hired in good faith and he has proven to be unreliable, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Unfortunately, I now need to give this company a negative review due to the owner and manager not responding to my messages regarding roofs that they installed on two of my rental properties in June 2022. When I used Iron City two years ago, everything went well. I recommended them to other people requiring a new roof or a repair. This time, however, they did not hire an inspector to provide a wind mitigation report, which was supposed to be included with the job, per contract. The insurance on the properties was expiring (due to being liquidated by the state of Florida) and I needed the reports to get coverage with another company. After leaving several messages, which indicated my need for the report, and running out of time, I hired a company to do the inspection and provide the report. The reports were $140 each. I'm disappointed that I did not hear back from anyone from Iron City, especially after giving them more business. I consider this to be very unprofessional and a big red flag. Earlier this week a neighbor said he needed to get a new roof. He asked for the name of the company that installed mine but I had to tell him why I was not able to recommend Iron City.

This company was a pleasure to work with. Customer service was over & above. Daniel was patient & so accomedating with my apprehension & explained everything clearly & honestly. Definitely top notch & kept the quality A1 within my tight budget. It was a tough job, but the guys were professional, efficient & tidy too. I truly couldn't be happier with my new roof & all the many ficed repairs. I can't speak highly enough about Iron City! I would absolutely give... Highest Recommendation... The crew at I.C.C. did a great job on my roof. My house is pretty small and they were able to arrive, deliver, tear off, re-roof, clean up, and be gone in a day.

I have needed a roof replacement for a while, but it recently became an emergency.This was on a Thurs morning. John called back within an hr, was here for the inspection within 2, and gave an estimate toward the lower end of some of my previous estimates ($6900-$11700). On Fri, permits were pulled and materials ordered and delivered. Sat 7:20A - 7:30P, a crew of 4 or 5 pretty much worked non-stop.Good cleanup too. Roof looks great! I know that my situation of getting a roof installed within 60 hrs of placing a call is mostly lucky timing. I would not hesitate to recommend Iron City Construction based on their overall handling of the process and professionalism..

The owner was prompt and on time. Gave me a fair quote and didn t require me to put down any upfront costs. He wrote up the quote right away and got the permits and had his crew on the roof the very next day! They did a great job!
