I was very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the entire crew. They were flexible when I wanted to make changes and patient when I had to wait for a delivery before they could finish the job. The are first rate and I recommended them to my sister for her project.

What a friendly Company!!!!!! They gave a reasonable quote and finished the project before the expected time frame. The staff is amazing from the owner, to the office manager to the builders. Communication was excellent and all staff were courteous, funny and professional. Great Crew and Company. Highly recommend them to everyone!!!!!!

Quality of the work was top notch. The business end was awful. We never got a consolidated list of itemized billing. The original quote was 30k, we ended up with a 65k kitchen. He kept suggesting things for the remodel without every letting us know there would be a price change. He communicated very poorly with us and we were very unhappy with the results. The only way I would recommend them would be if they fixed their service to match with the high quality of work.

"This was actually a kitchen remodel that grew in both size and scope during the project. We actually provided over 150 pages of details and invoices as per their request. I remain unclear how they would think/believe that they could add a new microwave into a new cabinet and not expect to pay for this? We do appreciate the feedback and as a result we have revised our change order policy to eliminate as many questions about costs as possible. We do appreciate the 5 star rating for quality!"

Bathroom Remodel
We actually give Island Hammer NO STARS. They were expensive and used the cheapest materials possible. They took every shortcut they could resulting in a leaky shower stall. They took over twice as long as the scheduled project should have taken, and when we asked them to come back and fix their mistakes, they put us off and never followed through.

Since you did not remodel the bathroom, I would find it difficult to rate your performance. As far as the fireplace was concerned, very good in all aspects outside of the time lapse from when you looked at the job to the time you submitted the bid. Thanks Maggie
