Do not do business with this company.

Hired paid $2,800.00 deposit they will not return calls or respond to any text message this has been going on since late July early Aug 2021. Do not hire this company. I will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau next week.

Eventually, HomeAdvisor screening process does not work. For over a year, Island Home Services tried to complete my deck for a price of $20,000. As of today, they are not even 75% complete. I tried calling them, texting them, mailing them, but no answer. I also gave them $3500 to buy me two 6ft sliding doors based on a Lowes order they showed me that they did order the doors. However, it turned out they never order the doors (fake order).They said they would refund my money via mail. I never received. When I went to they home and confronted them, they still would not pay me. I have all documentation, emails and text messages, indicating that they would refund me for these doors. Do not use. Again, HomeAdvisor needs to screen better. I would not even use HomeAdvisor recommendations again.

Don't ever hire Island Home Services from Cleburne,Texas. The owners, Fred and Jana, took a $4000.00 dollar deposit to build a pergola and stone pavers in my backyard, and they never began work. It s nearly impossible to get a hold of this business as they inconsistently reply to emails, calls, or text messages. They never committed to a date or time to begin work, and when I asked for a full refund they told me once they returned the materials they bought and the cost have been put together I would get my refund. They have never brought any materials to my home, and they have yet to refund me. Tomorrow, 8/2/21, will be 60 days no refund, no work done, no answering texts. So please DO NOT HIRE.

They have great customer service ..They keep you informed, they meet their targeted deadlines, their prices are very reasonable, and the work they did was awesome!

This company is honest and listens to you

The work was done quickly and professionally . They have a great team completing the work. They all work very well together and ensure that everything is done correctly and as I would like to see as the finished product. I would definitely hire again for the next project.

Fred and Jana and their crew did a fantastic job on designing and creating a beautiful deck off of our new 18' X 33' pool. The workmanship was exceptional and the price was right. I also needed a 40' trench dug for the electric line (with a post) to the pump. He had them do the job for my cost of the rentals. It felt like family here. They loved the coffee and refreshments we provided. Jana and my wife Sandy had some nice visits. Jana gave Sandy some advice concerning getting more help from Medicare for my Dad. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience!! I highly recommend them!! 5 stars plus!

Everyone was fantastic during the entire process. I would hire them again with full confidence. They did a wonderful job of explaining all the details and they kindly provided us with some suggestions to our project that turned out to be better than what I expected. It was a wonderful overall experience.

Great service and support. My new deck and outdoor kitchen came out better that I expected. It looks great. Very timely, professional and solid job at a great price. Would definitely higher them again.

Satisfied with the end result but had to call them back several times after they said they were "done" to fix cosmetic errors and small details. They were very nice and cooperative each time I called and fixed the issues promptly. They did start the work a week late. And I was disappointed to learn that the crew had thrown their lunch trash and some construction trash in my recycling bin outside. But as far as the quality of the work for the end product is concerned, I am extremely satisfied. I would use them again.

The quality of their work on my new porch and deck was fantastic! They did a full face life on my older home and did a wonderful job from the deck to the siding and paint and framing in new area I needed on an extra room and many other things. Fred and Jana and thier crew were so nice to work with. I love my new home! Thank you Island Home Services for doing such a great job!

Always trustworthy and professional with the addition of personal attention that is hard to find these days. I have plans to use them again.

Can t say enough good things about Island Home Services. We hired them to build us a large deck that had a tree in the middle of it and they did it perfectly. They walked us through each part of the job prior to starting, and once they started, the crew had it done in two days! Great job Fred and Jana!!

Where to begin on the greatness our experience was with Island Home Services. From the beginning, Fred and Jana were like old friends. So easy to talk with and helpful with the planning. They truly listened to what we were to get/accomplish and gave great pointers and things to consider. I would be remiss if I did not mention how refreshing their cost estimate was. With most projects you get a number and then wait for the moment during the project where you hear, â oh we ran into this...so it is going to be more.â With them this never happened. I even told Fred my budget, what all we wanted, and the max I had expected. This is usually a risky move but with Fred, instead of trying to get every penny they could, he actually told/guided me on the project and explained how I could adjust a few things to get me exactly what I wanted and come in far below what I anticipated. This was truly refreshing. As great as they were to interact with, their quality of work was even better. Every step of the way was professionalism, checking in with us for guidance, and self inspecting everything they were doing. Twice a part was not up to their standard, which I would have never known, and they did it again better to meet how they expected it to be. The finished product far exceeded our expectations and is truly breathtaking. I, without a shadow of a doubt, recommend this company to anyone. I will for sure be using them again in the future! The bad thing is we had planned on only a deck but, because of their amazing work, we are now trying to figure out what else we can utilize them to build. Fred and Jana... THANK YOU!!!

I am very satisfied with the deck. The crew was excellent and very polite. Fred and Hana have selected a good group of men to do the project. We were standing outside waiting on my wife to come out to see the deck. She stepped out the door, saw the deck, and said, the deck is beautiful. Then turned to the team and said thank you so much. All from Island Home Service we re smiling and happy that my wife loved the deck. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
