When purchasing a new home it is important to have a Home Inspection performed to know that all major components such as the roof, heating/air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems are functioning properly to avoid costly repairs. After the inspection is completed you will be provided with a report. The report shows pictures and descriptions of the defective components. Only a FL State Licensed Home Inspector will inspect your property and complete your reports. In Florida you may be required to have certain insurance inspections. The two most common insurance inspections are Four Point and Wind Mitigation Inspections. If your home is 30 years or older you may be required to obtain a Four Point Inspection. A Wind Mitigation Inspection verifies certain hurricane resistant features which qualify you for discounts on your insurance premiums.
