We hired John Rawson to come and do an emergency shower repair for us on a weekend nonetheless! He was quick to reply, gave us prompt service, and has excellent communication. I am located in Canada and hired him over the phone. Although I am not in Maui to inspect his work the pictures he texted me looked great and my on island property manager said everything looks great too. John was very easy to work with, texted me pictures every step of the way, and did everything he said he would in a timely manner. Not easy to find this kind of great service in Maui. I will definitely be hiring him again for future tile work.

We hired John a couple years ago to replace a bathtub with a walk in shower. It turned out great. We had considered doing it ourselves but we only had 2 weeks before we had a guest coming into our vacation rental. After seeing all the preparation steps before he laid the 1st tile, it was very clear that it was not a "do it yourself" job. He did such a beautiful job in the shower we hired him again this spring to tile the floor and kitchen backsplash. Again there was a lot of prep work to level the floor before the 1st tile was laid. He really has an eye for making an attractive pattern and we are very pleased with the outcome.

Overall the floors looked wonderful. He did a great job matching the color and the existing floors.

John Rawson is professional and friendly. He started the job and came every day, all day, until completion. He gave me instructions about how to care for the quartzite tile. He even suggested where to get the tile, which I was unable to find anywhere else. I highly recommend him.
