Morales Repair & Improvements

Updating my review because I received a partial refund. He did not want to return and fix his work so I accepted this to nullify the situation. Quoted one price at the start verbally, nothing on paper and he forgot to define charges for additional work and which raised the quote much more than reasonable or expected. Needs a formal quoting system and transparency from the start. I did not find this a quality destination as evidenced by my needing to find someone else to fix his work now. Maybe I had bad luck... you can hire and decide for yourself. PS he did not accept credit cards at the time I paid him... so plan accordingly.

We were putting a 30-year-old house on the market that had settled a bit but had some cracks in the drywall and crown molding in a few rooms. My biggest concern going into it was being able to match the texture on the walls because it was knock down a style and pretty consistent. First off I was absolutely amazed that the repair was literally invisible when it was complete. Paint and texture. Just phenomenal. I've done some of that myself in the past and know how much voodoo witchcraft is necessary to make that happen and these guys have got it. Second, there were some odd colored dated paint in two other rooms of the house that we had them paint to a neutral color, and that was done to perfection as well. Third, they went around and patched quite a few nail holes and touched up the paint around them but due to a miscommunication about the paint we had left over that was done in the correct color, but a satin finish instead of flat, so it was somewhat visible, but that didn't become apparent until after it had dried, so it was somewhat odd looking and stood out. I called Israel with that concern and he stepped up and offered to come back out and make it right and did so again to perfection. Having worked in service industries all my life I understand completely that occasionally things happen that aren't the way they're supposed to be, and how a company responds to THAT SCENARIO is way more telling than when everything is smooth waters and blue skies. As customers, one important thing that we need to do is whenever something isn't right out of the gate, getting back in touch with the company and giving them an opportunity to make it right before barbecuing them with a bad review. This guy is an absolute prince and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. A+++

On time service

Israel and his team were great to work with. Communication was good, they were on time & respectful of our house. They made sure everything was protected prior to starting the work. I plan to hire them again for future projects.

Israel went above and beyond when I hired him to paint two sliding doors. There were couple of extra things that needed to be fixed with grout, caulking, leveling the door knob, painting around the wall and so on; he completed everything perfectly and for a reasonable price we agreed on. He was professional, trustworthy and overall a great person to work with. One of the best finds from Angi!

Wonderful! They are very good with tile and I love my bathroom!

Israel did demo of my bathroom tile and shower. Installed new tile flooring to the pattern that I requested and built a new shower pan and tiled it also. He did a great job and also redid some plumbing things for me as the project continued that I couldnâ t do myself. He is very punctual and had great availability! And would always come back to finish anything I requested if I wanted something changed or fixed. I would never be nervous that he would not finish a job, because I know that is very common now a days! I have referred him to multiple other people. Thank you!!
