Lou is a very nice person! He contacted utilities before starting the work, brought brochures and emailed an estimate within one day; job was completed within 3 days. The excavation was perfect; removal of old exterior stairs and path walk. I got everything I wanted at the right price; Pre-cast stairs with railings and stone path walk. Absolutely stunning!! Lou is a true professional and very knowledgeable about all the various aspects of landscape design and maintenance. He has been my landscaper for over 4 years and has conducted a turnaround of my lawn from spotty and thin to beautiful and healthy. He trims and prunes all of the plants and small trees and does a truly fantastic job of winter preparation and spring startup. Lou is highly informed in all areas of landscape management, attending classes during the off-season. He tries to use safe, organic material treatments wherever possible. He has a small but energetic team and he ensures the quality of his work is top-shelf. Unfortunately, I have relocated and am now out of geographic range for Lou. He will be missed.

Lou was very prompt in his visiting us, and made a estimate to our proposal that was less than other bidders. He is committed to doing the project in September after most of the summer is over, so it will be ready for winter and hopefully a beautiful lawn next year, but the weather was still too dry and hot, so we delayed into October, when the days were shorter and the sun was not so hot. Lou drilled the lawn to aereate it and break up hard soil, put a combination of black, rich soil and rotting compost on the lawn beore reseeding. Of course we had to water every day, but it was no so bad as the hot summer would have been. Also along came Hurricane Mathew, which dumped 3 inches of much needed rain on the lawn, praise the LORD! The grass is growing nicely throughout the lawn, and it should be set for hibernation and seed setting throughout the winter. Lou charged exactly what he quoted in June, and he couodn't have been easier to work with. He is on my ermanent supplier list.
