I used Ivan before through Homeadvisor and was pleased with his work. I had the new bathroom Project this year, and I knew I Would use him again. Fabulous job and Quality work, beautiful bathroom.

I first found Ivan through HomeAdvisor and decided to let him do remodel for my two bathrooms (rip out old cabinets and countertops and sinks and install brand new equipment that we furnished). He did a great job, quality of work was really good. Ivan never asked for any money from me until the job was 75% complete, and even then he only asked for a small portion of the total amount. I was very happy with his customer relationship skills and the workers that work for him. He stands behind his work. I was happy enough that I hired Ivan again to do a small kitchen remodel (careful demo of kitchen countertops, removal of dishwasher, install new owner furnished quartz countertop and dishwasher). He is still working on the project as I type this review, but I know the job will be done properly. I highly recommend Ivan for any residential addition or remodel project of any kind.

This company has the best prices in town! they have great work ethics, efficiency, and they get the work done in a timely manner.

I hired Ivan Revera as a GC to build an ADU and addition from last October.. Also he helped me to do the bathroom remodeling. It was a tough year to build a home since the COVID-19. I appreciated Ivanâ s management during the hard time. He was responsible and knowledgeable for my project. He gave recommendations to prepare following projects. I am very happy to choose him to finish my projects.

Beware of Ivan Rivera Trillium*** Ivans work is dishonest and I 100% regret working with him. HDs LEGAL team is getting involved in a court case to make Ivan refund the wrong kitchen installation of the HD design. The washer machine was supposed to be flushed behind the cabinets in the original design, yet now it is protruding 5 inches outside the cabinets. The oven protrudes 6 inches outside of the cabinets and it turns on because it gets hits by people walking in hallway. Save your money. Go elsewhere please.

I really love the work and the timeline. The moment I contact Ivan, he came that afternoon and we began the following day. His team was friendly, helpful, and respected my schedule. I would definitely recommend this team.

I had a very good experience with Ivan Rivera Rivas and his crew in rebuilding my deck. Ivan gave me a good price and his crew did a very good job in demoing and building the new deck within the time frame he said they would. They did quality work and cleaned up after themselves. I recommend Ivan and his crew, but as with any contractor, just make sure to make it clear everything you expect from the job from the beginning. This was not Ivan's fault, I didn't tell detail everything I expected with the work. Once I did, he was very accommodating and did the additional work after we agreed on the additional cost and did so in a timely fashion.

I got a new exterior on an old home in SF. I wanted a contractor that would not upsell me on everything, but would stay on track with my budget. I feel like I got that. They did important work that needed to be done. You might not get the smallest details, but you'll save money and get quality work.

Because our experience with Ivan was so incredibly horrible, I purposely waited 7 mos to post this review to ensure that it did not come across like a rant...yes, we were/are that angry and disappointed. I encourage anyone reading this to take the ALL of the negative reviews very seriously. We honestly felt like we did our due diligence before hiring Ivan by researching his reviews here, Yelp and on his website. As you will find also, there are a handful of negative reviews. Considering, we confronted Ivan on these prior to hiring him. He said those people were liars. He will tell you we are liars too, I assure you we are not...I wish I could post pictures and texts here, because I documented the whole terrible experience. But, considering Ivan had more positive reviews than negative we decided to hire him and we sure regret it! Ivan assigned two workers to our project and that is who we primarily dealt with. These guys were pleasant enough in the beginning, but after the mistakes started and we had to ask for corrections things changed, they because nasty. To give few examples, the water lines for the pedestal sink were 14 inches apart...this took 3 redos to fix. The cut for the medicine cabinet, 4 redos to get it right. The soap shelf in the shower, 2 redos to get it right. Electrical switch behind the cabinet. And this all transpired despite having a taped outline of the floor, pictures and rough layout with dimension posted on the wall, Oh my gosh, I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. Ivan was virtually missing action for the entire project. We would have to request that he stop by and give his workers direction. This was a constant battle with him and ultimately what lead to numerous mistakes that required them to redo their work. It also took Ivan numerous attempts to pass each of the city inspections, especially the electric. We are not actually sure how they fangled getting the sign off because we had issues and literally had to hire a new electrician to come back out and fix the problem. You can also not count on Ivan for a contractor discounts on any of the finishes, you are on your own and are paying full retail price. Secondly, he was less than helpful with ensuring we picked out the right fixtures to meet code and we ended up having to return a few things because he did not provide proactive information on what exactly was required. All in all, with all the mistakes and numerous attempts to pass inspections, the projected ended up taking twice as long as Ivan committed. Thanks for reading, we would not recommend Ivan!

Ivan was great, very professional

Ivan was always responsive to my calls, emails and texts. He took ownership whenever issues arose (which they always do in construction) and was quick to mobilize his workers to resolve. Our project included extensive electrical work to rewire a historic building built in 1910. We also had to re-plumb the bathrooms and kitchens across two units and build an exterior deck and staircase. This was all to appease San Francisco inspectors for converting our building to condominiums. Pedro was the main person who led the day to day work onsite. He was friendly, cleaned up each day and hard skilled worker. I would hire Ivan again for future work.

Professional quality expertise.

Our initial project was a to-the-studs remodel of a bathroom. We were having trouble finding a contractor, and then we found Ivan on HomeAdvisor. He gave us a very reasonable proposal, got all the permits quickly, and started work within a week. Ivan was diligent and honest, and a real pleasure to work with. He was super responsive to text messages, his crew were incredibly nice and considerate, and they showed up every day until the work was done. The job included a new tile floor and walls, new piping, tub, vanity, toilet, a bit of electrical, and painting. The work was high quality, and Ivan pointed us to the best place to buy tile (Best Tile). We were so happy with the work that we had him replace the floor of our other bathroom as soon as they were done with the first. Both jobs were of very good quality and were completed for the exact amount he quoted up front (we had a couple change orders, and we agreed to those increases as they came up). I highly recommend Ivanâ an honest and straightforward contractor.

Electrical and a bathroom remodel were done simultaneously. And both projects were complete in under 3 weeks. Fair price, honest communicative GC, respectful crew, speaking Spanish is a plus. All things considered. I will hire them again to remodel my kitchen.

We hired Ivan for replacement of fire stairs. Overall the job was good though there are parts that should have been done better but were not. Ivan then took payment for a job that he did not finish (bollard installation in the garage). He never replied to requests to have the job finished, or resolved the work.

This project actually started with the need to take care of a patch of DRY ROT in the siding. It was underneath an Exit / Deck-like staircase. Both the staircase and the door / doorway ended up needing to be replaced. We are grateful to Ivan and his team for accomplishing all of this professionally, in short order, and in a timely manner, before the rainy season. Thank you!

Ivan helped us remodel our kitchen and we had a very positive experience. Him and his team installed cabinets, backsplash, counter tops, a new water line to our refrigerator, a new sink and new faucet for us. He was professional and responsive throughout the process and was knowledgeable about the various pieces of work that needed to be done. His team took good care of our house and made sure to keep the dust at a minimum. Overall, we were pleased with the quality of the work and the pace at which everything was completed.
