"Let me clarify the situation. You first contacted me on May 21 for a quote—then ghosted me until June 2, after hiring another cleaner who didn’t show or left things half-done. Your landlord rejected the condition of the home, and that’s when you came back to me—last minute, hoping to save your deposit. You asked my rate—I said $50/hr, with supplies included. You agreed. Despite me being on an 8-hour trip to Birmingham to care for my partner who lost his arm in April, I still offered to help that same night. You postponed again to June 3, and I showed up—even after all that driving. At the door, you asked me to redo the master bath, kitchen, windows, floors, and “anywhere else that looks bad.” That’s a full house clean. And no, the fridge and oven weren’t touched when I arrived—so clearly the previous cleaning attempt wasn’t enough. My crew and I spent 5 hours fixing the mess. I followed up on June 5, and by June 9, you confirmed your deposit was returned. Yet you only paid $70 on a $250 invoice—then accused me of harassment for requesting the remaining balance. You got your deposit back because of our hard work. You agreed to the price. You confirmed the results. Not paying what you owe, and then leaving a negative review, is dishonest. This isn’t harassment—it’s me standing up for my time, effort, and team. You’ll continue to receive the invoice with late fees until it’s resolved. —Joshua, Sparkle Clean of Northwest Florida"
