I hired them to build an ADU with an attached garage and due to the impending tariffs last July they insisted on most of the money to secure pricing. They?ve been paid $183,450 and the only thing that has been done since then is a foundation and a huge mess. They?ve don?t show up for more than a few hours a week. Stay far away from these snake oil salesmen.

Unfortunately I hired Allan Builders (also Allan Davis Builders) back in July of 2025 for a 30?x30? garage. I made the initial payment and then they wanted the rest of it two weeks later to ?pre order materials before the tariffs hit? and to ?keep things on track?. So I paid them in full in August 2025. I was told it would take four months. I am now almost a year into it and have foundation walls that they didn?t pay their subcontractor for and excavation work that also didn?t pay the sub for. I have no framing or electrical done. They constantly lie and say there are delays. Commonly they say they?ll be here to work and they don?t show up or call. Their work WEEK is no more than 6 hours. They have multiple complaints in the the NH Attorney Generals office. And three open lawsuits for breach of contract. Just stay away.

The crew was on time fast in for a roofing job. They were very clean and organized. They did a fantastic job.

I?ll post some pictures soon. Cost made sense and the job was done ON TIME. I get it no one wants to wait an extra week when you know there is a problem but I also appreciate they didn?t just rush through it to get to their next job. Done right. I?ll be calling back in a couple years when the garage needs to be done for sure.
