You know, it's not easy to find businesses that care about what they do. I was fortunate to come across James and his team thanks to HomeAdvisor. During the process of having my driveway redone, the sump pump discharge line was discovered to have a hole in it. James came out promptly, took a look at everything and made sound recommendations on how to fix it. The pricing was fair, and James came out with one another person reasonably quickly. The work was completed in a few hours, and the clean up was great. I have a new discharge line for my sump pump, and I couldn't be happier. Now, I have to get the driveway guys back, but that's another story! I highly recommend JAD Basement Systems and look forward to working with them in the future.

JAD took a step-by-step approach to waterproofing a leaky stone foundation. They attacked the problem from all angles- repainting, new gutters, extensions, built up mulch, as well as the basement system "products" (sump, dehumidifier, etc) - and always helped us understand the work being done. Not to mention they are super professional and always leave a clean work area. Highly recommended.

The job was attempted three times and not completed. Pictures were taken at least two times. The repair was attempted in June of 2015, twice and the leak remains. I have call them a number of times (starting from 12/19/2015 to the present 10/20/2016). An e-mail with a repair proposal was supposed to be sent 10/17/2016 for the second time. No e-mail has been received from JAD however and e-mail I sent them was received by them. It should not take over one year to repair or provide a plan to repair the leak. The email I send to them was my copy of the contract, and the plan drawn up by the sales person that explained exactly what they were going to do. If they received that e-mail, I should be able to receive theirs.

"Customer has been informed that additional drainage work would be necessary after our last findings in addition to what had been outlined in our original proposal. However this customer does not feel there should be a charge. Exterior drain pipe previously installed by another company has failed and instead of redirecting water away from the home it has actually introduced a new waterproofing issue. The original job was performed over a year ago however needed to be revisited of which had been done free of charge. This has been a very frustrating waterproofing job for both this customer and JAD and as much as we would love to be able to help this customer we are just not able to do so without additional drainage work. We have had no problem contacting this customer by phone in which several appointments to re-inject this foundation crack have been made however have not been successful via email due to an undeliverable email address provided to us by the customer. We at JAD truly wish this customer the best of luck and would still be willing to provide our services if needed however we are not able to do the work free of charge. We appologize for any inconvenience this has caused and again we are here if needed. Thank you, JAD"

Very down to earth, nice, super professional people who worked harder than any other contractor I have ever hired. Definitely top notch work while staying on budget and keeping the area as clean as possible, probably cleaner than when they first got there. Would recommend to anyone, any project!

JAD did a great job with the leak in my basement. They were flexible and good communicators. The price was reasonable. Best of all they came back to correct a minor mistake after I had already paid the bill. Ask for Jose to do the work, he has a great attitude, does excellent work and always has a smile on his face.
